Does it affect anyone here?

The second Safety Recall concerns the Throttle Position Sensor fitted to certain YZF-R1, FZ6N/S, FJR1300/A, TDM900/A, MT-01, XV1700PC & XT660R/X manufactured between 2002 and 2005. In a small number of cases, the idle speed may become intermittently unstable, causing the engine to stall.

I thought It is normal for this bike bahaving like this. Sometimes embarassing when the bike fails to start in the crowd. Moreover, mine is a new bike. So wat u normally do to overcome this problem???

Anyway, Wish Selamat Hari Raya to all The TDM Riders.

yo selamat hari raya...:cheer:

okie,so tats the happy side...

here's the not so happy side...

Jus got back from HL awile ago...took MC one of the reason is to go there...

so i pop up a question regarding the recall thingy...

Ans : its not for TDM..only,R1,FZ6S and FZ6N...

so i told them,i've read they oso include 20++ other models oso wat...they say no dun have....

so i told them about the irregular idling and bike stalled at times...

Refered to a mechanic.

Ans : the idiling is normal to be like...then comes in the thoery bout Twin engines like smehow Harley does have irregular idling.

den i said bout the bike keep on stalling during low gear wen clutch in at times...

Ans : Ur exhaust u changed mah.

so i said before i changed the exhaust its been like tat.so i said its got nothin with the exhaust..

2nd conclusion : Ur idling must be above 1000...

Den i said to him wat the hack is tat on the meter den...i said its irregular...

i told him i read in the TDM international forum they are complainin having this problem and their bike is send back due to the TPS recall order...

Ans : Don't listen to all this forum thingy..and furthermore, its not in singapore..so different bike situation..

And lastly he said, only the ABS version got the recall order..

so wat the ****?

witout knowing whether all my question is answered practically...i decided to give up the speech, and smile with a polite thank you...

The situation is...it seems no particular body in Yamaha Singapore wants to deal and be responsible with tis problem...maybe owner have jus to bear with it or buy another bike i guess....:sian:

Waste my time to take MC...screw them..:sian: :sian: :sian:
