U can check out these two places. They are the distributor for Yamaha parts. Always go to them for parts. Definitely cheaper than HL.

I seem to remember reading about it somewhere....

 

Anyone know where I can get a second hand Ducati 748 or 916 ?

But was told mainstand its not parts but accers..:mad:

 

went Auto-Cycle there 2-3 wks ago to collect things for fren; ask them if got main-stand..? 1st say yes.. :lovestruck: den suddenly de other uncle say 'oh, accersories; we no carry ahh.. :sian: but, Auto-Machinery, no idea.. but, i doubt so..

MainStand from wemoto.. but dunno if its Yammie wan..

lookin for duke ahh, can try ask x2 at a shop always do duke.. Gerry Looi ; its behind YP Motor.. every other week seems like got diff duke inside for servicin.. u can try ask for Amir/ Ah Soon @ 6783 1948

thanks for replying.. the TDM9 is one of the rides im considering my my next change. =) its quite a worthwhile ride to get from what i've read!

 

i checked with i-motoring at Bt Merah and they quoted me $16.2K Machine price, and ard $18K OTR. Will be gg down to NTUC income to get a quote for a 1st party insurance also..

but i still wanna how abt high mounting the pipes? legal? and will it cause probs to mount panniers?

Bro i think once u mod the pipe to the high-mounted ones, u cannot use the side panniers liao. It will obstuct the mounting bracket. Think some modification and operation need to be carried out. Ask SengKwang for advise. I doubt its going to be cheap. But if it matters to you, y not give it a shot. Just my 2cents. Cheers!

well dude...if you're getting one,get the white ones....its awesomely swee...:cheer:

 

well the high mounted exhaust is GPR...street legal...i thk james or smebody just posted that thing cost $1400....i was eyeing on that too...

and i've been asking sengkwang twice to do the joints frm ctr to muffler as i wanted to do underseat since my Yoshi was meant for underseat,he discourage me...even if i want to do the high sidemounted ala V-strom,he said i can't use sideracks...unless u are willing to extend ur sideracks further out...

 

i am still considering...estimated price shud be ard $400plus...for the joints from ctr to the muffler for high mounted...

One of the reasons i got a pair of low mounted exhausts is that i am able to squeeze through traffic with the side panniers and boxes on. One of the nicest things is the slimness of the TDM, i am able to squeeze through most traffice even with my boxes on.

I'm afraid with mod to the side panniers with high mounted exhaust will pose a prob. But if there is not your major concern then go ahead with it.

how abt pipes that are slightly higher n longer than stock? somthing like AT?

since boon says high mounting the pipes will take away the 'slimness' of the bike, i think thats a big problem for me. squeezing thru traffic is a big issue for me..

its the way i ride. can overtake, WILL overtake =). so for me, the slimmer the better.

Wah like dat GF must chuck all the high heels one corner and learn to wear sport shoes to work. Hehe... Gonna have a one hell of hot time at the back.

Btw, is the high mount exhaust approved?

 

Prefer the 45' agle type though.
