hi guys, i am very keen with this bike but yet to hear the voices of Singapore superten riders. so far ive been looking at youtube for info, but i got a few questions from the real SG riders.

 

1) hows the fuel consumption like? full tank can cover how much? or by per liter? cause from spec its 23liters but and heard that before reserve is 17liters with 5liters for reserve.

2) hows the ride been like? im riding an Africa Twin right now and considering to jump ship over.

3) where is the best place i can go to get one?

4) major issues? minor issues? anything ar that u guys like or dont like about the bike

5) the cigarette socket. does anyone have trouble with it?

6) what are the mods that u guys do and for what reason to overcome issues with the bike?

 

do share pls serious considering the option as my africa is about to finish its installments and backside itching for a new ride

Let's do it easy for him..

1) FC is abt 18-20KM/L, full tank can manage abt 420-440km on local use, 300-330km NSHW.. It's 17 main, 5 reserve..

2) I never rode a AT before, can't compare.. But S10 definite got more power and easier to maintain..

3) scout ard for good deal.. If you are staying in the east, dun go to the west to buy, petrol costs money..

4) so far only got 2 recalls, one for the fuel tank o-ring, the other for the top case bracket.. Minor issues are discuss all over, up to individual to view it as minor or major..

5) I dun smoke, so no issues with it..

6) mods are not endless, but each individual has different perspective on how his bike will be.. Very hard to comment on this issue..

 

Hope I have answered your questions.. Best to meet us up and treat us coffee and Prata.. You are welcome to stare at the bike, but not molest it..

1) Depends how how heavy yr right wrist is....

2) New technology bike vs old technology bike..

3) Anywhere the offer that can suit your pocket?..

4) Horkay, this one personal, its a yammie..(i dont like), other than that, the bike's been great.

5) So far, havent try with the heating plug, otherwise, working fine.

6) Basically, all the current poisoning are influence by hock.. everywhere...

IMO, cos I budget, so all the mod is budget unless neccessary.

Just went to Looi's and sat on a black S10. Glad that my feet can reach the floor properly. Feels great!

If i m not wrong, that could be Loois last S10 with accessories.

If S10 is price at $33k OTR without accessories, i would say the price is on the high side.

We shall see what new promotion is coming.

New S10 supply are quite limited so used unit will have low supply as well.

 

If u do come across a reasonable S10 then grab fast before it gone.lolx

Hock: 23L total, usable 19L till reserve lite pops. reserve is 3.9L till empty

2) hows the ride been like? im riding an Africa Twin right now and considering to jump ship over.

Hock : it has less proection as XRV750 and more power (110PS) with slim body line.Do note it 261kg heavy.

3) where is the best place i can go to get one?

Hock : The best bikeshop will be your regalur bikeshop. HL price can serve as references

4) major issues? minor issues? anything ar that u guys like or dont like about the bike

Hock : Major issue - too many add-on stuff avail. Minor issue - it as good as a GS however rank low in the eyes of others.

5) the cigarette socket. does anyone have trouble with it?

Hock : depends if u intent to use a GPS plug for it then it will POP due to movement viberation.

6) what are the mods that u guys do and for what reason to overcome issues with the bike?

Hock : different items suit different rider profile.it all bolt down to personal perference. the bike perform well in stock form.

back from KSM .. first night saw a dead cow on the outer lane of the NSHW ....

the additional LED light is good .. really bright up the road ahead in NSHW ....

saw a 2nd cow running at the shoulder .. where many dont even know there is one ...
