Hi ddin89. , FYI the SuperTenere had been on Spore roads since 3rd quarter 2010 , uptodate should be close to 20 bikes around . Before the recent COE price hike , OTR it'll be around $30 -$32K depends on the insurance.

The bike top speed actually depends on the rider ... But it's capable of achieving 210-220kmh ,good enough for a tall dual purpose bike . It's not meant for such high speed . Comfortable touring speed would be abt 150- 160kmh. If u wanna go faster ,then get a sport bike or sport tourer.

The Super Tenere is a big n tall bike . At 1.68m , I think u'll have problem getting on the bike while on center stand . But once u ride it , there shouldnt be any problem . The bike handles well despite it's weight. I suggest u try seating on it first .... Anyway it's a great bike !

Originally was quite interested at the KTM 990 SMT, until i saw the Super Tenere at one of the bikeshop near alexandra, the bike really caught my attention.. but i tot this kind of enduro bike sudn't cost more than those 1L sportsbike(maybe I outdated lol). BTW any feedback on those electronic devices like ABS, TCS? cos im from old school dirtbike, don't really trust those new gadget, maybe im wrong lol..

a 1L sportbikes will depreciate to 50% of its value within 2-3 years..

this bike wun.. reason simple, sportbikes every year facelift, this type of bike wun..

Thanks for the reply, quite true for the depreciation part, but it depends on demand also.. Recent years, bike price seems been very high, eg my last R1 is around 21k(new) and FZ1 is 18.5k(new), last year i asked for 1L sportsbike's price, and they quoted me ranging from 28k-29k(machine price)..what an increment over the years lol.

S10 community is still quite small compared to the other bike models/makes..

This is the best place you can get info from locally..

Else try ADVrider or other overseas forums..
