BS BW501 battle wing?

It not say 'no good' but due to the softer rubber, the wear rate is faster.aka the rear tire will 'square' faster then the Metz. So just Kup more corner to keep it round(within one limit Hor).

Ride it like a more Heavy motorad...it will be fine.lol

If I have missed this, i'm sorry but how much will the 1st service cost at HL inclusive of mineral oil, oil filter and shaft oil? 500kms or 1000kms?

Should be S$50....for 1st Svc at 1000km.next 1 is 3000km.which I had yet to reach.

Maybe Bottlecap,Richard or ram can answer that...lol

As according to manual, 1st service is oil change, oil filter change and drive shaft oil change..

Anything extra to consider or best to do during that service?

Hockie - is it a must do thing to grease the shaft? Sorry for the question but this is my 1st shaft bike.

1st & 2nd Svc by HL is just to get the 12mth/12000km warranty nia.

1st Svc - engine oil,oil filter & shaft oil.standard package.that's all.

Add-on : grease the shaft bearing & shaft.(that is to enable smooth change of tire/wheel in future as the bike come DRY) not a must do but the bearing on shaft cover side will need special tools)

2nd Svc - same as 1st Svc.

According to yamaha.the shaft oil only need 200ml & will last for 10k km before replace.

If u do lots of off road or long touring then maybe change shaft oil every 5k km? It up to individual perference Liao.

Cos the shaft oil

Is just there to prevent dry shaft rubbing the axe or bearing etc.no real active protection 1.haha

Latest update regarding 2011 H&B side rack on S10.

Now the side rack can be fix without much different from the original design.

Just need to relocate 1 of the lock-it bolt position.

So yes....S10 can fit H&B sde penniers now.

Cheers

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

Yamaha final drive oil is cheap. Change as often as u can. Cause even after 1000km the oil that comes out is still blackish, greyish or greenish.

If u ride a BMW then not so eco to change every 1000km:cool:
