when buying on installment, should take into account the interest rate that you are being charged. i have not bought any bikes on installment in recent times but 4% is a little steep when you take into consideration that car rates are 2.2%.

Also the longer the tenure and larger loan amount means that you are effectively paying more for your vehicle.

This will be a problem when you want to sell your bike in the future and will likely need to "top up" on the loan.

I've got a little good news...

Bike Production...

selling the bike for $28k otr but without IU and insurance...

4%interest.

So i've breakdwn...since i was quoted insurance at Southern, for my age is $800++ for 1st party under Allianz..

so plus IU $160,price would be at $29k everythg in.

Let's say we wanna do loan at the price of $28k exclude IU and insurance.

So,if I were to downpymt 5k,monthly is $460x60.

seems reasonable enuff rite?temptations.

Compared from what HL quoted me at $30.5k exclude insurance but with IU,i have to dwnpymnt $6.5k,monthly is $510x60.

So here, compared to HL and outside,I have to downmpt more, and also more mthly instlmt for the same piece of metal.

Hmm....clock is ticking...botzz...i got all the good lobang for you liao.:thumb:

thx buddy..

hmmmm.... personally I don't really like dealing with BP.. It's cheap though their price for the SuperT as too their other bikes that they are selling.. I guess I am just a lazy fella, rather pay my installments thru giro and have my receipt sent to me by post.. It's just my personal perference..

Anyway, I am not really in a hurry.. Better get my finances right before committing. So I am hoping to get mine by early next year......

unless of course, I win upcoming TOTO...

Thx for the advice bro..

However.. not many of us can afford to pay for our bikes in full cash. So we have no other choice but to go the installments route for the bike of our dreams. Anyway, bike loan interest have always been higher than car..

ok now let's get back to the Topic... XT1200Z Super Tenere....

so far, the OTR quotes I have seen:-

AV motor tiams: 30K- 31K

BP: 28K

Mah Motor : 32K for the silver one..

Excel cannot remember.

Loois: ? Mr Lee's quote

Looks like gotta wait for the hype to simmer down before the pricing stabilise.

anyway, i miss wildcard.
