Anyone know when next shipment coming?? End Oct already...o_O

 

its so sad, I had called Hong Leong ; even they dont have the answer . Thay cant commit to any date .

 

I had been waiting for the blue Tenere for close to 3 mths ; dunno how long more to wait . Its so unbearable and frustrating!

 

There might be some possibilities for the delays :

1) high demand that the production could not keep up

or

2) there is some problem with the bike that they need time to rectify and look into before releasing to us -

 

My mind has gone wild, have start thinking to get another bike if the wait is toooo loooog.:cry:

Today I got my bike.

 

For those who want to use Hepco & Becker pannier rack and aftermarket exhaust, take note that most probably you will have to modify left side frame of the rack.

tot I saw a white one yesterday opp junction8 abt 8pm. Tried to chase it down for a better look but my ride cannot make it.. Lost him at turn to bishan park.. Doesn't look as big and intimidating as some of the other giant trallies.. Which is good think for asians..

Hi Yammie! Have not tried it yet. Trying to be more gentle with my lady, as the mileage is still only 2k. Next week going to Fraser hill, will have a chance to try it.

Anyway I got this pipe more because of sound and weight, rather than performance.

In the end I've decided not to wait for the HL shipment. It is really too frustrating... I got that "ONE".

Still need to talk to HL if I can negotiate on my deposit. I would assume that now you will have a higher chance to get blue color S10 for the next shipment.

Hahaha , lets hope they dun disappoint me further. I'll give them till mid Dec to deliver my darling .Or else , I just have to look for another beauty.

 

Well , I'm sure they will return ur deposit. If not , try to nego them by exchanging with the accessories such as windscreen , wind deflector ,crashbars or the side panniers.

A super tenere friendly owner from KL came to the shop today. His LV exhaust melted part of the rear mudguard and deformed the plastic number plate on the way from KL to here. He was not using the db killer. U guys using aftermarket exhaust may want to take note:cool:

By the way the number plate on the bike is a new one he made in JB before entering here.:cool:

Noted. I'm using DB killer on my LV pipe, and I'm going to Frazer Hill this Friday. Will watch out. My heatshield is also quite close to pipe, and I'm afraid that that one can melt as well...

I don't think the heatshield will have any problem. If not it wouldn't be called a heatshield :angel:

 

I think it's the gas and heat from the outlet that is the problem. I've seen 'fire' coming from some exhaust in some youtube videos.

Guys,

 

Just want to post a few pics on modification of Hepco Becker rack to use with aftermarker exhaust. Modification was done in the rush, therefore may not look nice. And still needs to be painted.

Top box for Singapore only. Need to squeeze two full face helmets. Side boxes for Touring.

Hopefully, I wont use three boxes all together and ride a very weird looking bike :)

Off topic...

Last Friday it has been proven that ABS function is very useful. It helped me to escape from running over my friend laying across the road...
