10/40W would have been better..but anyway..you are using the Coral or STP vicosity anhancer should do great..hopefully it mixes right to 20/50W..damn good for old bike. If you gotten the golden container one..you could have a told of 10 litres for a few $$s more.

 

Switch to mineral oil next time..I think you like it better for old bike. As for why..Tech Ghee talk only...too much for my old poor fingers to type. Don't forget the magnet.

yes..its very hard to gauge what is 25-30n in torque. Just hand tighten as much as you can and then use a oil filter tool is slightly tighen just a bit. Run engine and see if there is any sippage of eo at the lips..if there is, just a little bit more. I always does that..no problem so far..touch wood. Same goes for the oil sump draining bolt below.

......... How can?...go to LAB area there...the shop next one or two shops down to the one selling stainless steel screws and bolts..go get a Oil Filter proper tool. Its about $20 or slightly more for a good japanese one. Various sizes. need not to buy a handle wench..it comes with a ize 21 or so "C-Spanner" bolt head. You need it..and its a life time tool.

Heh Tim17...not sure what you meant by "tigthen".. ..tighten as in mounting it or adjusting your spring rebound? If its the latter, you have to have the "C" shape fork spanner...comes with the bike.

Can be easily taken out mah. You need to wedge it out with a long screw driver or just a wooden handle of a hammer or something...kenna like that before oso.

Three possibilities:

 

1) Fuel too rich (check if spark plug is moist or veru black).

2) Too lean (insufficient going in)

3) Air filter dirty (inlet air nxture insuffiecient)

 

Best solution: have the carb retuned. if you just done recently, the only other possiblity is that the spark is ot strong enough and could be anything from ignition coil to the cable..but check the condition of your cable and its plug head first.

Not necessary..you can always use a flat head (large enough to sit on the catch) screw driver and tilt it in line at an angle where you want it to jump on mark up..then hit the other end of the screw driver handle. Spray some WD40 or light lubricant on the gap of the adjustment assembly first. It would just easy move.

 

Otherwise..come over at Teck Ghee the next time when we la-kopee...just a 30 second job .
