Oh yes...Mr Quan correct..he got this "sticky relay" problem. best is to buy the relaya nd have it replace..since your Dad ia a DIY man..the relay I think is just next to the fuse assembly vicinity.

Ho Ho.... Just got my bike grounding done...

 

A perfect job done by Ah Pek... And here's the feedback,

 

1) Better response while throttling... (ah pek, when i test my bike i discovered that the 0.5sec lag when i throttle is gone)... Is it because the point from the spark plug coil area?

 

2) Brighter light, let me explain how i discover the brighter lighting from my bike. I wear a helmet with tinted visor... in the pass when i ride on the bike at night with my visor down. I won't be able to see the meter (light too dim)... Today after doing grounding i went back and have dinner... then when out to test bike liao.... when riding i suddenly discover, how come i can see the meter running with wat speed with the visor down (surprise). So i am sure that the lighting had improved much from the pass.

 

So far discovered this two differences... will update again if got new findings.

 

BTW... i give a two thumbs up (as i only have two) for the way u arrange the wire (si beh swee) and thank you for sharing your bike knowledge...

Hi.. just wondering whether vtec or spec3 seats can be fitted onto our verS.

 

cos after a rear mod to the bike's tailbone, the rear is slightly higher n causes my pillion to slide forward even during normal braking..

 

oso i've noticed the spec3's tail is higher than usual and thus the seat is redesigned to suit the tail. thanks.

Stock HP is 53..wah..yours dyno 58.4 huh?..they adjust the dyno a bit higher to make you happy or what..or they never calibrate their equipment...LOL! If that's the case...yours See_Peh_Hoe leh.

If its just pilllion slide forward problem..go rewrap your seat cover with the anti-skid surface material one..sSee_Peh effective!..and cheaper that way. If you want to flush with the tail end..see if they can add extra foam to it before wrapping.

R u looking for just the ignition switch only or the whole set as in (ignition switch, fuel cap, and the seat locking mechanism)... If the ignition switch only most of the motordiam or can go ah boy there to get...

 

If looking for the whole set then can try call FJT...

 

Actually if your bike ignition had been tampered... i think its best u get a good disc lock too.

Looks like you have to get it from FJT (Rowell Rd) or Chong Aik (Deslerk Rd) or Ever Success (ever xpansive!). No point waiting to find a second hand one..new one is about $80 the most. LAB oso can get (original) for you.

jokes aside. i tried b4 re wrapping with antislip cloth and adding of foam/cushion to the seat..

 

doesnt really look nice. somemore my pillion is complaining of spinal discomfort due the the seating angle. in the past no issues.

 

imho nothing beats the original seat ya? see the spec 3/revo seats will drool. just wondering if it fits.. verS vs spec3 seat.
