oh well.. so it seems that its well within the 'good' range.. anyway.. got some technical issues here.. i've changed to a new handle bar with balancer.. it now seems to vibrate more than before.. any idea wat might be the cause?? is it that the balancer is too heavy?? or the hollow type of handle bar is not suitable for my bike??

balancer is supposed to help with the stability of the handlebar...the problem might lay with the bearing of your front wheel? or did your bike vibrate before you changed to the new handle bar with balancer? need to check out first

anyway the balancer works at a limited speed only..from my experience which is very short...heheh...since just 1 mth plus of riding my s4 verS...the bike feels stable at 100kmh-140kmh...but anything higher kinds of feels floaty and vibrates as experienced when riding at 160kmh...

It aint me officer...The bike is POSSESSED!!

i tho our version S can hit 30 kms/litre cause i see the thread on the fuel consumption under "Chit Chatting".

i wonder how the guys do it.

the high idling rpm drinks more fuel but the good point is, at first crank the bike always starts up without stalling :D

tuning is the percentage of air/fuel ratio that goes into the carb for each combustion, more fuel % = more backfire = more sound.

"i tho our version S can hit 30 kms/litre cause i see the thread on the fuel consumption under "Chit Chatting"."

They switch off their engine at every stop traffic lights that just changed, they see downhill slope..they free wheeling and when slope too steep..they pull on first gear, come down and walk with the bike up the slope on the left hand side

Actually starting I was concern about the fc of the bike. But then after a while, I rather enjoy the ride rather then concern about fc. But of cause I also keep track of the fc and my avg is 22 - 23 Km/l. Even when I pillion my fren he also say that super four is a fun bike to sit. Haha

but just curious, what determines if FC is high or low? previous owner mod? tune it? exhuast? if so, what is the most damaging?

High or low ar.. Maybe is cos pple's avg FC is about 20 ~ 23km/l so determine that FC is high or low from there.. Damaging not too sure wor..

hehe...yah to me fuel consumption is secondary.....and the FEEEEELLLING of the ride is primary...when on my first few rides i realize that the ride is what makes s4 so popular on singapore roads...the smoothness of the engine...the growl of the exhaust..wah feel shiok...haha

anyway...my current fuel consumption is also ard 21-23km/l...think should be normal liao...the fuel consumption already better than my phantom ta150 and the ride also feel better....haha but i still miss my phantom cause 1st bike nia...
