ok back to super 4 topics.... just wondering any1 know where to get those rubber clutch (those similar to super 4 bol'dor) for easy switching of gears, cos my VerS clutch is super hard aft i tested bro ldslds super bol'dor rubber clutch...haha really impressed wif the smoothness of his rubber clutch ard how much issit?

 

Abit confused of what you meant. Clutch cable or the black rubber at the gear shift on the left foot? If clutch cable oil it. Check both ends of the clutch cable for breakage, change a new one for safety if you find got loose tiny cable breakage

uhm...anyone on version s with spec3 tailboard?i understand that ver.s with spec 3 tailboard, under the seat will be bare.meaning u open seat cn see ur rear tyres.any idea how to fix this problem???

Yah my ver s is converted , the mechanic frm a bike shop cut the hole, so u kinda must make sure he measure properly then cut. 1 thing also u might need to get a new undertray, as the seat sometimes might not be able to secure properly to the new tailboard. i got bro ldslds to fix for my me though haha but most impt u must damage ctrl the mechanic... Speaking frm my exp :angel:

Ok meaning that in order to change to spec 3 tailboard, the mechanic must cut some parts of the undertray n the bars behind that holds the tailboard... u shld get the spec 3 undertray so that it will fit the tailboard nicely, but our

version s undertray is bigger, can fit a small toolboX for e.g... so it's up 2u whether u want to change the undertray or not... As for that, its better u pm bro ldslds directly... (he has his own fender eliminator thread) :clap:

That 1 i not sure, cos i stick wif the old 1... tats where the damage ctrl comes in if not the spec3 undertray also cant' fit, no prob any questions just post again man :clap:

To all Non-vtec,

 

I need help. Earlier in the afternoon yesterday, I walk to my bike and start the engine. Engine run in 1st attempt. After I notice it is raining outside, I switch off the engine and took out my raincoat from under the seat.

After wearing my gear around 5mins, I try starting the engine. It failed in many attempts:cry: Anway, there is ignitions. Just now at midnite I tried again. It will not start.

Any info to rectifier this is much appreciated!:smile:

Further info, my batt n rectifier changed last year in early november. Spark plug changed last year august.

well. mine is converted. i am still using the original undertray. however some configurations have to be made. it has to be cut and re-angled. i'm not really sure how to explain it. but if you really wanna see up close we could meet up for coffee or something. i'm really bad with explanations. haha.

How much is it to change Ver S tail to Spec 3. I like the look of the tail. Any mech tht does a good job on tht?

If there is, it might be the carbon starter that is used up.

 

Look to your left side of your bike, it's silver in color and oval in shape(about the size of your hand when you roll your thumb and index finger into a C shape) Right below the top engine block, beside the 2 coolant hoses.

 

Tap it with a screwdriver/key continuously while pressing the electric start.

 

You will be able to start the bike.

 

Happened to me before, i could still start the bike like 10 - 20 times everytime i had a problem before i need to change the starter.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Overflow issue. Next time, while the engine crank..pull your choke.

 

If the above does not work after a few time, use a long flat head screw driver and release all the four carbs remaining fuel while the fuel kock is shut. Then open and crank again.

my bike also like tt..... mine can one crank start under one condition, IT MUST BE RAINING!!! tts wat i noticed...:cheeky:

Yah..when its too cold, there is no fuel vapor in the carbs enough to be 'injected' when you crank.use the choke to assist the air pressure..but while cranking, avoid turning the throttle initially so it won't flood the spark plug.:sian:

Yah..that's right and may have to open the throttle a bit if the engine don't fire up. Opening throttle would allow some fuel to the carbs to be force into the chamber..but too much can wet the plugs and won't fire bekuz the spark may be week due to bad grounding or weak battery. Pause and wait then

 

If engine does start up.release back the choke immediately and rev gently (don't blip). Once idling stabilised..give the bike a 2-3 hi-rev blow out at 13k rpm.
