Just check the pressue for both the tyres. I usually pump 235 front - 255 rear for my Ver S.

Anw, if i pump excessively.. Wat r d problems tat could derive?? Maybe blown tyres but tats rare.. Besides tat?? Uneven wear?

When your air pressure is to high up front, the handling is very light and the tyre after awhile when it reach its half life..its likely gonna get centre ripple wear and tear. Moreover..it easily hydroplane when you hit high puddle of water or heavy running water inheavy rain. :sian:

Personally, After the grounding. Bikes idling more stable, revs smoother, I can feel a increase in torque.

Amazing what a bunch of wires connected correctly by a person who knows what they are doing can do.

I would recommend it to anyone. Grounding stabilises the electrics of the bike by minimising current leakage if I'm not wrong. :thumb:

Hey guys!

potential version S rider here hahahahaah :)

the thing is i don't know how to view a bike properly, like look out for leaks or whatever defects there possibly are.

tml (saturday) i will be going down to the bike shop, its located at Serangoon near Boon Keng MRT, GlenEnterprise.

anyone staying near the place? hahahaha help me view bike leh i treat you all eat lunch :D

Hi Adidas2007,

How did bike viewing went? I'm also potential Ver S soon ... :shy:

Buying bikes is like buying durians ... if u eat durians, u can understand ... :) Some durians from outside looks beautiful, but open up and worms inside. Some durians look ugly outside, but open up very fragrant and nice! That's my own version of bike shopping. Good LUCK in "Super 4" Durians!

Hmm, 150 for the rear might cause uneven wear and tear in the future, just take note of it.

Well bro, the 260km issit when your meter reaches reserve? My meter reaches reserve around 260-270km but the real reserve (bike splutters, and have to manually switch to reserve tank) only comes between 300-310 km (I ride hard)

Cheers

That's right bro..it solve about 85% of electrical load leakage lost to the body in general condition once done correctly. U seen it, tried and felt it :)

Heh..go to Ah Fook and have free advise from him...you have to tell him exactly what you did to the carbs though so he can gauge better. Tell him I send you..no charge for such service. after that, you may visit one or two more and see what's the rest of their opinion.

I suspect ur jet kit may not be standard.

guys, how do you restore those plastic parts like the the engine switch area, brake fluid reservior, etc. Ah pek, if i'm not mistaken you told me the other time that theres some product to use on it right?

Also, what is the best way to remove rust. I noticed that some parts of my bike are rusted like some parts of the headlight and the fork. I'm trying to make my bike look more presentable as its a little of an eye sore for now

For plastic and to bring back the semi gloss blackness..use silicon spray..something llike "New Bike In A can" from Maxima sold at Mustaffah..think its $17.50. Any other similar product like those wipe and rub type for car internal cockpit also helps. Get thise that have UV protection properties.

Rust can onlt be remove by sanding. Make sure you find the finest waterproof type...use it with water. Can get at most hardware store in HDB type.
