Wa I sent to mech check, he say my pump hose spoil need change, another $100 fly away

In the end total dmg:

Water pump $185

Cooler hose x5 $121

Hose holder $45

Cap holder $45

Fuel hose $25

Coolant $28

O ring $12x2

Labor $150

 

Not cheap maintaining ver s :(

 

Just change the pump hose set..about $150 including labor and all. You don't need to change the water pump!..how did he check your pump?..what mototiam is that?

Yeah, I was wondering too. A trip to replace coolant turns to full coolant system replacement. lol!

Is sin ming auto lvl 3, funmasters promotion motor division, the mech is ah huat.

 

He showed me the pump, the fan looks busted to me.

 

Ya his labor fee rly cut throat...

ahpek! or anyone with knowledge regarding this.

 

just now i forgot to kick side stand and the bike dropped on the left.. but wasnt a very strong drop as i was cushioning it.

 

now my bike overheat light is on and its spitting out coolant from overflow tube and fan i think did not spin..

 

any ideas?

 

 

 

and anyway. thinking of diy thermostat myself its the thermalstat having issues. how do i test the fan? i took out the switch and it just seems like 1 connector.. theres no positive and negative for me to test the fans LoL

ps. i just changed engine oil? maybe engine oil lvl not enough?

B4 you 'dropped' the bike..did u have any of these problems? What do u meant by no +ve and -ve? To test ur fan..leave the wire back in the fan switch connector. take another long wire connect to it and on you bike and touch this wire to any part of ur bike eart body..the fan should turn. Your temp light on..is ur meter original?..chiong one the chrome finishing is shinny and have linning. Nothing to do with ur engine oil..dropped bike..coolant overflow fro ur reserve tank is normal.

Unfortunately my stock ver s only gives me 20km/L. Asked ah Chong to help me check but he said bike old already, dun bother.

 

In fact I asked him checked a lot of things but 90% he said no need to do

hello,,,can see some coolant leak from around the engine block area. what could be the problem?

show us a photo of the leak? issit leaking from the 2 holes at the sides of the block?

 

If either of the holes is leaking coolant, any way to repair it other than change block which costs a bomb?

Jus change the whole coolant system, sld cost 400+, but puts ur mind at ease for at least a few years.

200 is probably just to change the head gasket. if he open liao got other problems will be more.. better to gauge higher price

can trust ah chong la. he wont lie to you one.. if he say no need means no need unless u insist..

You can try riding like what ahpek advised someone else.. ride at 6k-7k rpm from gear 2 onwards..

dont unnecessarily change to higher gears.. my fc also like urs .. but improved abit after i swap my riding style..

 

not really pain for me cause my SP easily eats more petrol last time hahaha

I got try change gear at 5.5 for gear 3 onwards, but sometimes feel like wear out the engine too much...

It's from the hole on the left side. Diff shops quoting very diff prices. Thinking of going planet motors, or any other place recommended.
