dont think it is not ok. probably just the thicker oil. ive been using 10w40.

Wah. Slightly thicker oil can feel difference? Maybe u need to warm up the bike a bit longer too

i'm sure if people who use slightly better oil can feel difference, then people who use slighlt thicker oil can feel difference too la

 

difficult to reach 4000rpm and above, but i must say once it its 5500rpm, its rather effortless to maintain at 5500rpm. probably this oil more suited for cruising on highway. got good and bad points i suppose

Hi does anyone know why my handlebar wobbles? Changed wheel,cone bearings already. If rim/disc brake abit dented is that a cause?

 

 

Anything from wrong tyre pressure..to unbalance or excessive lost of fork oil in one or none left or damage rim (dent) or brake disc (wrap) would affect this.

anyway, i went to do servicing at midview building, at bukit batok st 23

 

Got these stuff

EO: Motul 5100 (15w50) . $20 per bottle, 3 bottles

Spark plug: Denso Iridium. dont know price. 4 plugs

oil filter: dont know brand, dont know price.

Coolant: Flushed and replaced with Engine Ice. don't know price. 1 bottle.

 

got charged a total of $225!

 

bike feels a little slow when picking up too. :(

 

Next time round..come try my eo..grounding and rebuild your internal engine cyclinder wall surface.

Hi guys took over my dad S4 version S any idea can spec 1~3 headlight fit on version s? or need any modification?

 

No mod needed..just maintain your headlamp bracket however, you have to bolt the black back cover first without closing the front half of the headlamp from all Vtec type.

When you buy and try to install it..you understand better. No holes to drill..just that the Vtec headlamp do not have threads like ur version S where u just screw on the allen screw to sercure the headlamp.

Hello all,

 

I recently just noticed when I start my bike cold, the exhaust will come out water/soot. I read online it is caused by condensation & there are no issues unless it is oil coming out.

 

When bike has been warmed, ridden, the water/soot stopped coming out.

 

Just to confirm, is it normal? 😆

 

My friends driving car say if cold start and got water come out means engine still healthy. Really healthy? HAHA

hi guys, was wandering is it possible for me to install an oil cooler kit to my 1998 cb400sf NC31 bike? Ive been having this overheat issue after I skimmed the engine head too much :(:( :dot:
