Hi All,

Just bought a PB1 yesterday. It a 1996 bike with coe till 2016. However the rear brake is not working. Any suggestions as the cause and where to fix it?

It helps if you can be more specific as what you meant by not working?

Ok..just for knowledge info. Your case could be lack of brake fluid (hydraulic oil). It could also be the brake pump kit not working. This is assuming that your brake pads are still ok. No worries..any bike shop can do but if you want to have bike shop with S4 experiences..go to Planet..look for Ah Chong or Teck Thye at 12 Bradell road..look for David.

No idea bro..if the pump unit has to be changed..it can cost up to $120. If just bleed and replace brake fluid..$25-$35. This is just my guess.

Of course but make sure it's the right parts for your model PB1 1996!..always get mix up with Ver R and version S.

The rear subframe shld be the same so it's probably plug and play. I know tt some owners changed the 1st gen shorter tailboards to the sharper ver s ones cos it's nicer.

hey guys, looking to buy a second super 4 and i notice this on one of the bike's front suspension. is this anything to worry about?

Normal wear and tear of fork seal..just have it replace..but do it in a set for about $80-90 with fork oil renewed in most mtotiam.
