yes. i have Scottoiler. IMO, it is very good! save you loads of trouble having to keep lubricating your chain. some say Scottoiler very dirty, but its the way you adjust your valve that makes the difference. having Scottoiler helped me last my chain for more than 35k km and i only tightened my chain once after i installed Scottoiler. just need to watch out for the oil in the cylinder not to dry out. if not, you will need to trouble yourself priming the system.

 

yes, some K8 are recalled. dude, since you are riding the blue one, can i ask what is the colour of your rims? :confused:

 

Thanks for that info. havin riden a shaft bike, i dread the idea of lubin the chain. i gonna get it done soon. Where u did urs? my rims are gold in colour. thats 1 of the reasons for me to get the blue Busa.

Any one here installed scottoiler? Wats the feedback? Jus got my 08 Blue Busa from Looi's. According to Mr Lee, mine not affected with the recall but told me to send in the bike to Looi's for some check as instructed by Guan hoe. Don noe wats it bout. Will be sending it in tomorrow. Any other 08 Busa in similar situation here?

 

I know the recall mainly because of the installation of ignition cable wrongly, & some of the wiring was "pinch" as result it might cut off & when it happen imaging if you are travelling "hi" speed & the bike engine just stalllllllll :help: :help: the rider will just fly off like "Superman":eek: ....i have the recall menu & if u want i can email to you.

engine stalling at high speed will not cause u to fly la... :slapforehead:

 

it's not like piston jamming or what...

 

there's juz the loss of power and then coasting down to a halt... what you'll be afraid is someone coming up and ramming you from behind.. :giddy:
