the z-fi is abt the same price range as the pc3.. and it can store more than 1 map. and u can switch maps whle ridding if u buy the extension switch. plus u can add on the z-afm for auto tune to avoid the dyno machine saving $$$$ on tyres and dyno.. :thumb: and if u reali hardcore can add on the traction control unit but that is expensive. :thumb:

Really? Who bring them in? Any links I can do my research on? Kinda confuse with your explanation... You mean I have to buy a z-fi and a z-afm in order to get something that is around the same price as a PC3 that works better?

I not interested in the map switching while on the move thingy because I dun see a need... and on the busa, the only traction control I would need already have liao, my right wrist and both legs! hehehe...I slow boy, dun need extra traction control one. :D

my frd is the distributor...

ray is saying that the zfi is the same prices as pc3 alone. to get the zafm u need to pay another at least pc3 price.

which make "sense" to now have 2 map. to switch map on the "fly" when u buy the switch.

to be true close loop. go for motty afr.

as the zfi need to do the tuning via laptop. which the zfi will recommend u the change if u agree. u juz apply all. else make some tweak then u will be done with the "dyno" run. it will be able to map out up to 95% setting.

nt bad if u are those who does alot of engine mod and track.

No no no, it dun make sense at all. Why because Ray said that for the same price as the PC3, can buy something better!

He said that "the z-fi is abt the same price range as the pc3.. and it can store more than 1 map. and u can switch maps whle ridding if u buy the extension switch. plus u can add on the z-afm for auto tune to avoid the dyno machine saving $$$$ on tyres and dyno.. :thumb: and if u reali hardcore can add on the traction control unit but that is expensive. "

So how come I got to pay for twice the price of one PC3 just so that I can buy two items that work together and with 2 maps when I need only one? And to "save money on tyres and dyno", I must buy one more item so that its able to "auto tune"? Lets take it that the price of a PC3 is $600. I would need to spend $1200 + $600 ( aga aga price of z-afm) just so I can save money?

How often would one need to re-dyno a bike? Annually right? Or when there is a performance mod (cams, pistons, exhausts, etc) So lets say one dyno cost $200 and I would be doing once every year. I would need to use the equipment for 6 years to break even! On the 7th year then start to 'earn'.

I dun even know would I be still riding 5 years down the road!

So my conclusion is... that system pinetree recommends might be better than the PC3, but it definitely is not in the price range of the the PC3. Would you compare a Mazda MX5 with a Porsche 911 Turbo? The price difference is an indicator liao. MX5 is a good car, but compared to the Porsche, its rubbish. But how to compare fairly when the price difference is so big, tio boh?

If I have the cash and can afford it, maybe I would buy... but that does not equate to the PC3 being rubbish stuff. I not a spokesman for PC3 hor, neither am I paid to defend PC3, just saying what I feel as a cash poor newbie riding a non speeding Busa. :p

the z-fi alone is abt the same prce as the pc3 alone. u can do what a pc3 can and load more than 1 mp into teh z-fi and if u choose to buy an additional switch u can switch maps while ridding. eg. u have tuned a map for fuel efficiencyn and riding while touring. then u meet up with a evo and u wan to play so u switch to a map which is better for racing etc.. while u are still riding on yr bike which gives u more flexibility. or u ride in sngapore uslng a map that is fuel efficient when u go malaysia u may wan to switch map with the add on switch. the z-fi cost abt 500plus whicis abt the same as pc3

but still need a dyno machine to tune but if u wan to sve mone on the dyno and get more accurate tuning u go buy teh z-afm for the autotune function. but as quicksilver say u need a laptop to load the map created into the z-fi.

and pc3 ater a whel yr tuning will go of so need to re tune or if u add components also need to retune so with a z-afm u dont need to.. plus teh z-afm tune while u are riding so its ~100% correct compare to a dyno machine where there is not ram air effect.

the arf motty is a much better product but is also much more ex.. whiel teh z-fi u can choose to have the autotune or not. and the big advantage of z-fi is that if u decide o buy the zifi we an share te z-afm and after u are done can pas to me nd then after loading the map tuned u can remove it. and pass it back to u . etc.. and u can bypass the dyno and have amap ~100% corect and can hae dffernt maps loaded for different situations. :thumb:

kaireru am i right or did i misundrstand? :giddy:

btw there is one more product that can used for the pc3. i know but i dun wan to tell u :D

work almost the same as zafm
