there's the inherent problem with the speedohealer...

it's a linear correction factor applied to a non-linear calibration error of the stock meter...

how to make it work...

i know.. but too bothersome to say...

no need to say.. explain it in writing ~ put it in your blog :cheeky:

Actually, it would be impossible to get a 100% linear reading, unless there are circuits to compensate for tyre wear, tyre expansion (at speed, and after warming up), circumference change when leaning etc etc....

Why not do an article on air intake velocity. So much talk on exhaust, but much to gain on intakes alone.

probably when bikes come factory fitted with GPS, that can be used to calibrate the speedo on the move since all of the data is digital now... but by then there will be a lot more disappointed pple... :cheeky:

meter error good. so millage error also so bike will have lower millage hehe

a higher reading on your speedo will result in a overall higher mileage than what you have really covered... thus speeding up the depreciation of the bike value as you are paying for the mileage that you didn't really cover... :dot:

Blog is good stuff,

maybe you might want to do the special invitation on the Forumer/Hayabusa

to some of the Hayabusa brudders to learn.

Discuss with the founder and do a strike back. :p

the last time round i guess didn't leave a very good impression on the owner/founder... anyways, not much pple really appreciates his effort... shall see what he says then.. :goodluck:
