Okay, I want to work there.

Well, in one of my past experience. The office was stuffed with some nice young people. And occasionally when we have some free time during lunch, where we all lunch in.

We will just have friendly arguments and start pillow fights. Some of us always have cute looking pillows to prop our back up on the office chair.

And our bozzes will just sit there, watch and laugh.

Was suffering from lower back ache during the weekend. I resorted to putting really soft, till cannot feel its a pillow below my back when I sleep. Along with plenty of tiger balm muscle rub.

Woke up in the morning, feeling so much better. Darn my huge backside, I think its what curving my spine and giving me aches.

Some insights about pillows.

I like naps during lunch time at work. And normal square square seat cushions just dont cut it.

I like a real rectangle soft pillow, with one portion of it cushioning against the hard edge of the table, and my arms can stretch under the pillow and not have to bend my neck too low.

Only problem is having to store that pillow. Not every office I have, got a full size locker or drawer big enough to store that pillow.

Wow... haha.. its good that u have workplace culture that allows for naps... at some places.... just by being seen sleeping during lunchtime would give a negative impression... that u do not have enough energy for work and thus need to nap....

Personally i strongly support taking naps coz i believe it really helps...but some colleagues may see it a different way...

Ma'am,

I'm naive like that, thinking it's another this-is-my-pet-peeve thread on Chatter Box... :p

looks like one taken from guard room in camp..... haha..

Just junked out 2 pillows. Now using the standard Singapore Style cotton one that my Mummy bought me. The pillow still has that musty smell, even though I sunned it.

I think I will have to 'tar pao' the pillow to the laundromat, wash and tumble dry there to get rid of the smell.

Nowadays, I buy two of the cheapest pillow insets from Ikea. Stuff both into a Ikea Pillow Case, (Ikea Comforter Bedsheet sets comes with a Comforter cover, one white bed sheet and 2 pillowcases.) add another cover and wash the pillows, cases and all in the washing machine once in a while. Dry them all together. And when they get way too thin. Throw and use new covers and pillow insets.

Come to think of it. I still have plenty of those white/beige flat single bedsheets that comes with the Ikea Comforter sets. Not sure what I want to do with them. Use them as table covers, is a bit wasted since they are such creamy colours. Any suggestions?

And nope. I buy the comforter sets and use them as bedsheets. Just unpick some seams and even though there are some spare materials, it can be folded down. They totally cover the whole thin seahorse mattress and thus reversible.

End of the year, about time to wash or buy new pillows and mattress.

They say, you should change out your mattress after 5 years, because the old mattress soaked up your negative energies throughout the years.

So are pillows and of course comforters.

But before you throw them out, do you still wash them? Or maybe reuse by lining on your carpark floor where you lay down your bikes and practice lifting them?

And do you pack them properly, so it wont get rained on, and become too heavy to lift by the garbage disposal people?

Its the end of the year.

Will you be bringing your pillows to be washed and dried at the local coin operated laundrymat?

what are you views?

are those 200 bucks pillow worth buying? rather then those goose feathered soft pillows costing less then 80 bucks.

Goose feathered pillows cannot wash leh.

considering how much we sweat, drool and occasionally cry/sleep with wet hair when we sleep.....
