the abec number is simply a measure of tolerance between the balls and the races of the bearing.

 

the larger the number, the tighter the tolerance.

 

the smaller the tolerance, the lesser radial movement of the bearing.

 

the lesser radial movement, the smoother the axial movement.

 

That's why you see people spinning the wheels at skate shops to test the abec numbers

 

this is for faster...

 

as for more ex... tighter = more precise machining = more exp

 

 

For a beginner, seriously, you wun feel the diff between 3 or 5 or 7

Well, u all take ppl who cant remember how to blade? Took a couple of classes ard 1.5yrs back... bladings hanging ard in the room... time to use them... n exercise... everytime say wanna go end up not going

yeah hrmphs.. u can move can stop right?

 

to be honest blading is not a good work out.. so hrmphs.. but i do it cos its lower impact than compared to running.. due to a weak knee..

sat morning me gg choa chu kang range shooting and afternoon bringing my frens dwn to bkt timah range to shoot. they wan try shotgun. thk by then im mentally "died" liao...thou i wld love to go blade!

 

if u guys wana try shooting, i can bring u all go play. got shotgun, IPSC, air weapons etc. thou its not really ex nor cheap but its fun lah...only air weapons relatively cheaper

i shot real guns in the phillippines lolz.. i went hunting there actually.. air gun rox.. very silent.. good for birds..

 

but i clipped 2 birds.. the fire-power not as strong.. so yups.. went back to a .22 rifle with scope..

 

the shotgun i tried was damm damm powerful lolz..

anyone knows where can i get a budget hardboot? i'm learning now, so was adviced to get hardboot but all veri ex leh i c. i'm currently using a softboot.

 

anyway, anyone goes 2 east coast often 2 skate? i usually go to the skate ring cause got railings for me to hold on when needed.

 

maybe we can meet up? wld like 2 have more frens tht does skating.

I think still can remember how to move and stop. Seriously long time no touch blades.. rusty... sorry.. didnt see your post earlier... end up nuahing at home=p

i am selling but too bad its a size 6 and 90% u cant fit..

 

 

any gals intrested to get a hard boot? solomon FSK.. good for stunts and slalom

reason for selling is that

i wanna get soft boot.. more comfortable for my weekend blading..

 

realise i am getting old, so stick to leisure skating is better

can move can stop u should be good enough.. i am not exactly an expert as well.. but i can teach u how to stop, move, go down hill, turn etc...

 

anything more advance like slides and stuff... gotta knock on other doors

IPSC stands for International Pistol Shooting something. I forgotten its full name. paiseh...its similar to police gun. black colour that type. thk it cost $90 for 100bullets. its more on speed and accuracy. quite fun. i tried it last time but i'm more into shotgun.

 

Shotgun if play at choa chu kang rang, will be $90 for 50shots. If play at bkt timah range, slightly cheaper.

frankly speaking, i find the skating ring v difficult to learn cos its always crowded. 2 of my gfs able to pick up while blading along the skating path with the rest of us. u wan give it a try?

 

maddog, u going with ur frens? if thats the case, maybe i ask my frens along den, but they not bikers.
