I got a Morries burgundy colour standing fan from NTUC Beo Crescent for $26/- recently.

So far, its working fine.

But that tower fan my mummy got, was so lousy. Tower fan is best for aircon enviornment.

technically, a metal blade fan will produce cooler air than a plastic blade fan..

this is due to the surface temperature of the blade..

but how cold the air is dependent on the air in the room..

I think Panasonic is another brand to consider! :thumb:

I've used the fan for 5 years now, still very good!

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

KDK is good.

I got one standing fan with remote control for my new hosue when I moved in last Nov...

Power output of the wind...

But then the fan costed me around SGD 115, if I remember correctly... :)

I bought it together when I was buying the lightings for my house renovations.

Bought from Tai Yong.

Thinking of going back to buy one more standing fan for my bedroom. :)

If you really want a powerful fan, get the metal ones. But you pay more. So a big diameter cheap standing fan should fit the bill for you.

I agree. My metal fan blows with far more force than my plastic one.

All my fans at home are KDK, of course KDK for the win!

those mom-n-pop electrical stores at your neighbourhood...can bargain some more

I'd just take the cheapest from Courts. A fan is a fan :D

Not all thing being equal..... those china made are spending $$$...and electricity...put to top speed also can't compare the efficiency of those brand one..... end up those lower efficiency one...at top speed...also not shiok....

it is agreeable that KDK is good...but it's not cheap....

quality always go with price...

Me and the technician found some items dump out by residents at a void deck of a flat.

My god, all those LDs. And one KDK fan. It looks old, but very clean, and when my technician plug it into the socket, it works!

I am so impressed!

We in the end put that fan into a water tank room, so it can be used to cool down whichever technicians that will be working in that tank room.

Maybe we can do a MO for those interested in getting a KDK standing fan (if there is really so many of us interested in getting one), then we can negotiate with the shop for a better price. :)

I have 5 KDK fans (2 wall, 1 tower, 2 shorter ones in the bedrooms). They've been with us for more than 17 years! The tower one is a little noisy though but the rest is good.

The main problem of a fan is the noise and KDK is very quiet.

It's your damn bike, wash it yourself! You rinse your own mouth after you eat, don't you?
