I have read and heard that many problems plague the RSV4s. Leaking crankcases, electrical problems etc and people selling them off as soon as the warranty ends, anyone care to clarify?

That's not fully true. Mine is 2yrs plus years old and still strong. Have been adding on abit of electrical stuff here and there but no signs of hiccup. Reliable so far. If you get one, you might wanna look into the batt size. Haha.

That's why, the sound is addictive, it feels damn light and agile but I heard many bad points from different riders, some owners, some not.

Many people got many opinions Hahahah.

Mine is as follows.

I moved on to the v4 from a r6. Light and agile true but needed abit more of power. And the rsv4 has similar traits. Wheelbase close to an r6. I don't really like bigger "fatter" 1000cc. I prefer compact and a lil aggressive riding. The midrange and torque of the v-engine is awesome. It's my second v-engine config bike. Anyway get what you like and don't be swayed by alot of hear say in the air. After-all you don't wanna regret later on in life! YOLO!

For me, fell in love when i saw it in WSBK in 2009. 5 years since and the design still looks fresh.

Not so for me.

Had a coolant leak at the plastic joint attached to the radiator hoses and the rear signal lights snapped at the stem. Both rectified under warranty.

Otherwise bike has been spot on for me thus far. *touch wood*

Truly addictive sound and handling.

How's the 2010 units compare to the APRC ones on FC? I mean it can't be the same right?
