Same goes to my SP. Especially Pillion side. The problem is my exhaust is link to the pillion footrest, hence it vibrates alot on my right side...

does it have the vibration around 6k RPM?

if so, it's an inherent issue with the revs & frequency

nothing can be done

prolly every CB400 faces the same issue

just got to watch your gear change timings / speed / revs

i know exactly how you feel coz after the commute, you feel as if your whole foot's numb from the vibs! haha

i find that wearing my riding shoes with less hard soles does help take away a bit of the vibrations :)

Grounded... :/

The Cause Is Probably That The Exhaust Pipe Is Connected To The Footrest, Hence The Vibration.

If U Wear Shoes, U Wont Feel The Vibrations That Much Coz The Rubber Soles Will Absorb Abit Of The Vibration. Try Changing Ur Footpegs To Those That Is Covered With Rubber. It Will Help Abit Too. :)

mine different..not at 6rpm...it vibrate within 4-5rpm after 5rpm it gone...and at 6 gears travelling at 100km ard 6.2 rpm it vibrate again...i really want to find out whats the prob

if this vibrating at certain frequency/speed ie natural frequency...try changing the natural frequency of the bike by adding ..say a weight on to the area that vibrates badly...just like bar end balancers. by doing this there is good chance of minimising the vibrations.

This technique works on windshields too(esp big ones)!

If the vibration is coming off the silencer, I wonder if softening the mounts with a rubber absorber will help to shift the resonant frequency. Just like car exhaust pipe. Haha.. the leg numbing effect is quite bad for pinnion rider too, especially if the vibes at your fav. cruising speeds.

baby, u're my love..
