As we knw our SE xperia x10's pc companion, i just wen to click on support zone--->click on software update (at that point the system prompt that ive the latest firmware even though 1.6)----->then i just click repair....

yup, i did that, but to nought.

it jus went back to 1.6, with 2 new apps nia.

Finally brought my idiotic x10 to the svc centre, reported of the auto on/off issue, was told to do an upgrade of the firmware to 2.1 & to monitor thereafter.

 

An hour later, viola, Im already restoring the old apps I was using & damn... it's good..

 

So, its goodbye Donut; Hello Éclair!

 

 

Hopefully, it wont mk me sway back to the thoughts of selling this x10 & going back to a Qwerty keypad phone..

was told an hour or so.

can actually go back within 45mins, but i let it set awhile before heading back to collect.

 

I went to JP's svc centre when it open @ 11am, on Saturday, nt much ppl, so I think it was quite fast.

Cos it'll help not straining the batteries.

 

And thinking of dropping the TasKiller app, cos on monitoring yesterday, it seems my batt's draining fast.

edited 1 - done my wife hp. Strange thing is when i wanna do mine. It says my software is updated??????? haiyooooooo

 

edited 2 - suede magic came in. I click repaired and magically the phone os repaired from 1.6 to 2.1. hahahah... i love the new look!

But these messengers using the data plan to send msgs, sometimes may hv delays relaying the msgs.

• Spare Parts
  

An app that, once installed & carefully selected, makes the phone fly!

 

 

• TasKiller
  

A must have app, to close those apps that's running in the background but of no use, so it doesnt consume the phone's memory.

 

If you hv the Barcode scanner, you can scan on screen to direct load.

If dont, type Power Save Mode on the Market.

no probs, these are the apps that I trust & deem useful when it was still on 1.6 to me.
