can larh but will u be able to make it.. with a higher back.. it tends to shake more and the centrifugal force in cornering might cause you to fall.. when u jack ur bike.. u disrupt the centre of gravity of ur bike..better not.. its no use to make it look sporty but when time comes, u cant even live it.. my fren jus had an accident abt this so i tell u not worth it.

i think it's alright as long as u dont over do it

if jack too high will arouse attention of the TP/ROV etc, which at the end of day, is not beneficial to u yrself

there's this rule about how much of the rear wheel yr rear mudguard must cover

after jacking up the rear, i'm not sure if u will offend this rule though.

:goodluck:

Raising the ride height due to longer suspension travel - NOT GOOD

Raising the ride height just to look sporty - BAD

I changed my fork to a longer one, and used a different linkage to raise ride height. Improvement was tremendous.

BUT, I did that on an XR250!!! kekeke

Seriously, jacking up the rear to look cool is a really bad idea. It only serves to radically change the geometry and handling (for the worse) of the bike. Not to mention the dubious quality of the brackets used. Besides, I think it looks like sheet.

Do it at your own risk.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

Thanks for all your advices!

I have given up the idea of jacking up my bike...

Safety number one!

I was referring to road / sport bikes. Dirt bikes are totally different. :cheeky:
