to me both are good bikes.RVF slightly higher bhp in paper but VFR hv more.

i prefer RVF in terms of hadling due to his single swing arm and downfork although i'm riding CBR.

as for maintenance wise,i'm sure lot will agree CBR much cheaper.

RVF wear and tear cost quite alot :giddy:

but performance and handling wise i got nth to compliant :thumb:

Yeah man, it takes incredible skill for a person on an RVF to catch up with a GSXR 400 rider :p

If RVF was 1/3 of its current price in shops I'd get it

If RVF's were cheap despite being closer to being newer and a little more track-worthier, I'd say piglets would fly in the sky :faint:

Bad thing about the GSX-R400 is that there's no mounting points for sliders...haiz.

In my honest opinion,Both CBR and RVF are solid sports bike.

It is just like comparing Ryu and Ken in street fighters.

Also like comparing Sub-zero and Scorpion in mortal Kombat.

Taken at stock(without prior modifications or power enhancements)

If your choice is CBR - It is very good at its Top end.Very much FASTER then its counterpart.Ergodynamically, any bike with an inline four(or more) will run fast in proper piston stroke co-ordination.If the tuning is done right, the powerband would be uniform through out.

If your choice is RVF-It is competent at outrunning the former counterpart,it is QUICKER.A V-four configuration is best for higher torque output which very much explains the perk in take off. This bike also has track advantages due to its enduro style proarm.Very similar to Ducati's sportsbikes and even the NSR.

ALL bikes are made good for something. It is either acceleration, top end, just sheer comfort or fuel economy.Make sure you know what you want.

I certainly love what I have.

regards.:)
