Pulsar 200 or 180 Vs Yamaha TW200

Hi all,

 

I am planning to buy a bike 2B bike by within next few months. I am still confused whether i want to buy pulsar for fuel consumpion or want to buy the most famous TW200. Guys could help me to choose the best one.

The pulsar is definitely the better performer in terms of FC, torque and power. However, the TW in general has more customisability and cool cred. It depends on what you're after, performance Vs style.

I enjoy the styling of TW200 n its wheels... sadly I unable to provide any info on this bike.

Hi mjbs64,

 

Yes, i rode pulsar before. In singapore i didn't & in india(chennai) crowded place yes. I feel pulsar i can buy in india itself. I don't want to buy it in singapore.... , So i decided to buy the worthfull TW200. It is a bit higher than pulsar i know, but it worth for resale after years.... Any opinion over this.

i see pulsar is good in pickup too when u r riding alone..

I rode Pulsar and TW before.

TW has a lower seating but is a very heavy bike. Doesn't pull as hard and move off as fast as the Pulsar.

Pulsar on the other end has faster moving off speed, bike is much lighter.

I seriously felt that Pulsar has better handling then the heavy TW.

The big donut looks cool but it really isn't comfortable to ride from point A to B given the vibrations from the tires.

TW also hv a much smaller fuel tank than the latter and I doubt its FC will be able to match up with Pulsar.

Plus point of the TW is that its a Yamaha and spare parts are plentiful.

Pulsar will need to go back to agent only.
