Don't know about you guys, but I just show up at the inspection center (of course after trying to make my bike as legal as possible) and see what happens. If somethings fail, just rectify and re-inspect. If all else fails, just get a bike shop to do it.

Inspection is no big deal really, and some of my bikes are quasi legal at best.

i can verify racing footrest will pass !

provided the rear brake lever is working

RXZ mud gurad shld be fine also , will pass if u never cut shorter

for mud guard inspections, there is a criteria

stand at the tail light of ur bike, den align yourself at tail light and rear tyre.

look downwards , the mud guard shld cover a percentage of ur rear tyre.

this will make sure if the mud guard serve a purpose.

example, if ur mudguard is super short, using this method , u shld see a lot of ur tyre.

This is not allowed nor recoimmended

Sheesh. Technically speaking, any mods to the bike is illegal.

But most times, no one will bother you if you don't change those obvious stuff like exhaust, remove mirrors, remove chain guard, remove rear mud guard, remove signal lights, cover up 1 headlight (like endurance racer).

As long as you don't behave like an idiot on the roads, and don't have those very obvious illegal mods, TP/ROV will not purposely pull you over.

My XR4 has non-stock mirrors, non-stock headlight, non-stock tailight, non-stock signal lights, non-stock handle bars, non-stock tank, and supermotard wheels. I have passed inspection couple of times, and passed by numerous ROVs with no problems. The only time I got busted was because of a missing chain guard, which I have since fixed back.
