i have RXK bike...5th hand summore...FD plate..COE ending same as urs...renewable...

 

i'm a newbie..pass long time ago...only a few mths begin to ride bike...

 

old bike...like tat lah..hav to be patience...when i just bought the bike...bike spoilt just after 3 days..rain water go inside the tank...,,dunnoe wat chain loose lah...fork seal leaking lah..dis n tat..the same workshop tat i buy the bike..even perssistently persuade me to sell n buy anorther model bike...just 1 mth after i buy...

 

the ting is to understand hw does ur bike werks...wat is the possible problem wif ur bike...talk to the forumers here...they hav given me a lot of knowledge...even wat they talk at times its nt related to my kind of bike...

 

nver get only 1 opinion..hav a few b4 making ur decision..

old bike...2 stroke...is low maintenance bike...BUT only after u heavily invested in it...make ur engine as thou u just bought it 1st hand..it really pays off

Hi Weejian,

if u riding a kr then shldn't be a prob to repair it,

i don't think so the repair cost wil exceed above 800,if so

means u overhauling a class 2 bike.

there is a lot of reputable bike shop as what our fellow bikers mention.

in future do not commit to any unknown bike shop.ppl always tend to squeeze as much as from new rider,pls do consult our fellow forumer in future if any doubt.

The shop is at autobay? Try pushing it to unique, it's at autobay as well iirc. Go ask for a second opinion.

go to planet motor at ubi. they will troubleshoot your bike and get yours fixed without carroting u. 67474740 look for ah chong. If he say scrap den i guess its time to kill it.

My bike is done and good to go again... hope this time wun't have any major issues.

Also i change my bike battery ( 9 years old) and got a 12 v 10Ah battery. And also change my head lamp to blue light... however after riding 30 km i felt heat near it and maybe some burnt smell.. is the light drawing to much current?!?

YOu have to know what is the limit amp for your headlight unit. Fit nice but wrong bulbs and the unit may start to melt from the heat.

Ya.. i think i did the right thing.. Overhaul and a few repair... Although it quite expensive but it doesn't give me much problem anymore .. for 3 month already =)

Anyway, how you guys keep coupon in 2B bike with no box?? troublesome ehh?
