Program :

Guys, decide on a common place to meetup and gather. Chit- chat, get to know one another, match face to the nick we used to see in the forum and then follows by a rounding to b/m location.

 

Little Bali. This place near Alexandra has got ample parking space for bikes. Nice Cosy place for gathering. Problem is you'll need your own transport.

Convoy Riding :

We need to get ourselves organise for the rounding to Little Bali else sure alot of riders hollanded. I can be the last bike.

 

Sky80, are u comfortable leading the convoy?

y0s_bikey, sweeper? Do we need two?

The rest? Marker?

 

Do discuss here asap cos we're running out of time to get this organise with less than 10 days.

i was actually thinking if arrange the kups to meet up beforehand den we head over to little bali

dat would be most perfect as for those who cant match the timing will need to contact the relevant personel for meet up place...

 

im ok with all the arragements!

Bro y0s_bikey, yes the intention is to gather elsewhere 1st, have some drinks, makan abit for those who wants and chit-chat then formed up the convoy to go over to Little Bali.

 

I was thinking of how big the group will be for the convoy. Preferably, we can gathered somewhere nearby not too far away from the destination else we'll have problem moving the convoy. Traffic lights stop, wrong turm etc shd be eliminated else riders break away from the convoy. The Scooters Community arn't doing any rounding this time due to the expected crowd of about 100+ bikes. They'll be there from 7.30pm onwards and expected to last till 12am. Probably we shd emphasis on being puntual and say moved off by 8.30-8.45pm.

 

As for the initial gathering place, how about those listed;-

im tinking of marina south.. the new pier at the end of the road.. very long stretch of road.. everyone can gather n move off.. theres also a small coffeehouse inside the pier..

PROGRAM :

This outing will cover the southern part of Singapore. All Cub community members will gathered at Alexandar Village between 7pm to 7.30pm (pse be puntual). We'll take about an hour for all to take their meal before forming up the convoy at about 8.30pm. The 1st destination will be heading towards Little Bali to rendevous with SBF Scooter Community. This is to get to know other SBF Community/members and interact. Next, we'll proceed to our next stop at Mount Faber. After decending from Mount Faber, stopover at the Esso Station while awaiting for all to come down (those who need patrol carry on). FInally we'll head towards our final destination at KKFC/KMAC before we OTOT carry on.

 

ECA :

Kindly noted that after the final stop there will be members proceeding to Loyang "Tua Peh Kong" and Yishun Dam. Those interested can ask around and tag along.

 

NOTE :

Pse ride safely and do not push over your limit especially for the downslope section of Mount Faber.

Eric, we'll plan out more outings on a monthly basic for the community. Any other outing pse carry on as well.

 

Next community outing eric u lead, ok?. We plan elsewhere probably start from KKFC/KMAC towards the east and loop towards the northeast. We'll discuss more.

 

Note : The main outing thread are now in this area for sorting out before merged back to the main outing thread. Flowerboi, there's a thread on the 25 Nov outing, kindly do a orgainser summary at the last post.

Guys, I've went round the planned route today.

 

From AV, after coming out from the CP, we'll headed towards Little Bali. Along the way there 3 traffic junction. At the third junction, turn left to depot rd and just before the next traffic light, we're supposed to turn right into a small road leading to Little Bali.

 

When leaving Little Bali, continue down the rd and turn right. We'll be joining the main rd at alexandar rd heading towards 2 traffic light before we turn left towards Vivo city direction.

 

Head all the way to teluk bangah and after 5 traffic junction (if i remember correctly) turn left and after the next traffic light immediately turn left heading up to Mt faber.

 

Options

There's two ideal location at the peak of Mt Faber. 1st is after reaching the top immediatelyt turn right to a small carpark (at the end is a pond). However, at night i dun tink there's anything spectacular to see. The next is location is after the cable car station, on the left side of the rd there's a slight recess for us to park our bikes. This is overlooking Sentosa and those cable cars.

Heading downslope as mentioned in the post be careful and dun overdo it. Ride safely.

 

At the bottom of Mt faber, the traffic light turn left will be a esso station. We can stop here for a while for those going to the loo and petrol topup. Next when moving off, immediately swing out to the right to go up the expressway on top to head to wards KKFC/KMAC.

 

Options

We can choose to go all the way by expreeway to our final destination or else we can head into shenton way and go along the padang before going via nicoll highway to KKFC/KMAC.

 

How, any response from u guys?

I was thinking of skipping the mt faber stop...i presume it will be a bit difficult to get there will the amt of bikes going....

 

I was think we might be at little bali till perhaps... 10plus or 11pm?

 

Its the first time we are meeting the rest....i guess there might be some be alot of things we all can talk abt.....

 

Maybe we can go KKFC straight after the little bali meetup..... to have more food and perhaps a second round of discussion for field trips which i am thinking of organising with the scootors community....

After little Bali, we can go for the u/m destination instead.
