Actually it is very subjective. Just like the seats of bikes. Some find the OEM great (hehehe me loh) yet somewould re-wrap, change to corbin or sargeat seats as they feel better on that particular texture. Same for braided hoses.you will get a less squishy feel as the braided hoses does not expand like rubber hoses. This will be super noticable when you get extreme braking heat generated.

I like the OEM bike feeling on road riding as I get more modulation. But frankly speaking, i would love to have braided ones when i hit the track. Personally I would stick the OEM ones till it is time to get it chnaged. The OEM ones ain't much cheper than the braided ones anyways.

Disclaimer : the above mentioned is only a personal opinion, and is only served as a reference.

Theoretically, It wunt. But then again, braided hoses increases performance maringally. Hence given same circumstances when you zam brake, it propabkly just activates earlier marginally also. This is just some analytical suuggestions. Haven't heard from any rider with the change..

Agreed with HamsterZ, was using HEL hoses on my S4 previously, for normal day to day riding I did not feel any difference. However if you use it during ebrake, you will feel the slight difference in the brakes bitting. However how many times do you really need to ebrake daily?

But if you are going down to track, I reckon it will be real useful.

Just came back from my 5521km thailand trip on my interceptor.

Managed to hit close to 20km/L on average fuel consumption travelling at 110-120km/hr near 5k rpm. Save me a lot of fuel money. :)

The ZG touring screen isn't too good for me. Wind was blasting straight at my face, I need to crouch down a bit to reduce the turbulences. Too bad already ordered one, but at least it was still better than the stock.

Even though met 2 unfortunate accidents, bike is still reliable enough to get me back. The sliders prove to be very useful for protecting the bike without panniers.

Lucky no electrical problems too when stuck inside jams in Penang and Bangkok.

Did not make use of any spare parts at all :)

Good bike

Well.. I guess you should have a rough gauge between the FZ1 and the VFR. The more intricate details can be found on the odler magazines. I have a mag that reviews

1. FZ1

2. VFR

3. Triumph tiger

4. Ducati ST3

It covers from, speed, pick-up, fuel consumption, comfort, make n reliability, weight, power, handling and all other stuffs, tested on motorways, and urban areas. Not to mention the An B roads (which the VFR is great at! .. hehehe)

Maybe can have a read when the VFR group meet up.

PS: some of it is not very correct though. Example and top speed and fuel consumption is way above their reviews.

Wao kool!! wanted to hit up last nov.. but due to chaotic situation.. only ended up at Penang...

Yup 120kmh gave me 20km/liter too!

Well as for screens.. there aren't any that will cover windblast above head level. So say it does.. so its pretty subjective till tried it right?

Man .. i also wanna go Thailand!!!!

Don't worry, 2nd hand quite easy to come by.

After looking for 1.5 years+, I bought mine.

Less than 4 months after I bought my bike, I had seen and hear 2-3 VFR for sales in the forum.

The only cruncher is when you ask yourself whether is it worth to pay a much higher price for a 781 cc bike or not.

yah I have seen 3 viffers for sale.

2 of them are too expensive and 1 is not road worthy due to the condition.
