Yup the air temp problem is still there. The reading now is a bit c***-up when riding.Because of the wind, the temp will go down n down n down till it goes blank. But the others works just fine. The huggers, I sold it to Delusion. But I still have bagster tankbag(model-city) and Nankai riding jacket up for sale. Anyone interested PM to deal.

Oh and one more thing, the previous owner was summon in M'sia so do bring along your log card just incase whenever you go in JB just to prove that you did not own the bike during the summon period. Just to be on the save side. But I was never stop by JB authorities to check on the summon during my ownership.

Took the bike in the afternoon and gave it a wash and wax. Cannot PM you cos your mails are full already. Do not mind looking at the Nankai jacket and checking it out, any pictures and what is the size?

By the way during your ownership what did you do on the bike, care to share with me or PM me, thanks again. Was thinking of buying the Power commander and was advised against it.

The bike feels light after trading in my former 12LT. Something refreshing and fast. Do not see much to upgrade on except buy a hugger in the meantime. Anyone care to give me some sourcing or direction. Thanks again cos new here!

windshield --->to give the extra protection to cruise at 200kmh..

ZG, can order from motovation. givi i got it from chiap lee.

hugger ---> to keep the exhaust clean clean and thighs dry from water at 140~160 speeds.

Got it from overseas with koma's help. NWS huggers. Personally .. I think its the sweetest one out there. Works wunders to my mi laser pipes (its a pain to clean 4 pipes.. underneath lor...) and also the coil springs too. Also keep the thighs dry from water kicked up at speeds 140~160kmh.

Panniers---> I love them.. dump anything from rubbish to helmets... & i REALLY miss my panniers now...

I will send u the jacket pics once I upload it to my pc.The size is L. I also have a bottle of the scoitoiler which 3/4 full, if u interested. During my ownership, i did nothing much expect the regular oil change. Change the radiator water 3 months ago.I put the tankbra and sliders. And of course the monthly/bi-monthly washing.

Like Hamz says, the only way to get the the NWS hugger is order overseas http://www.N-W-S.com . I got it thru some help from my friend who was at London at that time. Do note the shipping for one huggers is more expensive that the product itself. Alternatively I would have gone for Pyramid huggers since they are now the owner of NWS.

Hi... erm... the pictures are in the link in my signature "VFR for Sale... ". The last picture is the pannier (both external & internal views, along with carrying strap). If it is not accessible (well... my IT skills sometimes a bit buang u know)... you can click here

http://home.pacific.net.sg/~stanley/ads/vfr/vfr800a3.htm

The plugs are OEM NGK (IMR9B-9H) part no:31912-MCW-003. Apparently only available form BS. I have checked with NGK Singapore to no avail at that point of time. Likewise, the Denso VNH something somethign also not available.

The plugs that come swith my bike, i took out at abt 24k. Checked the gap with feeler gauge. tink spec is 0.75~0.85. Its way withing healthy (abt 0.75~0.76). It shlod be able to last at least 40+k. Thats why i am sticking to the OEMs.

Erm.. can't sms you coz... i dunt have your contact. My number is 96950802. Feel free to drop me a buzz as my company does not have internet access readily...

Is it just me or my bike.

Brought my VFR down to track today.

Bike was constantly hot; average at 103 deg, hitting a high of 110.

Had to break for a couple of times to cool it off.

Riding technique constantly using 1st-3rd gears for acceleration and engine braking. I think most of time in the 8k-11k rpm range

might be

1. Coolant passage dirty contaminated. Impurities impede cooling rate dramatically

2. thick EO? I had a thick and thin oil isnide before. upon high revs, it is slightly cooler.

I did track on similar gears n rpm. max is 100deg. usually around 90~95. Fan not turned on till its 98deg

My experience..

I experience the same thing. I went once to sepang for some track sessions and the temp goes up after 3 laps to over 100 degree with fan switch turned on. I normally take a break then :) Maybe our bikes milage too high already. Can't push it too hard for prolonged periods

Do you think its the affect of side mounted radiators providing less air cooling due to the twists and turns in the track?

How about the temperature for R6 (front mounted radiator)?

stuck in the jam from AYE --- > ECP, can only use 1st - 3rd gear thro'out, and lots of braking. end up after pump full tank at Esso, bike cant start. called hamster, seem like no one experienced it before.

-battery still on, got light and everything.

-the only strange thing that happen on highway is that the temp hit 110deg and the ABS light keeps blinking non-stop.

called Sanfu, he said might be the starter motor or starter carbon (?) spoilt. Will update tml here again
