Congrat to all who passed the TP yesterday It was great to see so many people passing on their first try. Do you recall seeing a guy tearing up his paper after he was being called up for immediate failure? I think he bought a bike already and was waiting to ride. maybe that's why so angry

thats damn sad la... i have not seen an epic reaction from students who failed their TP test... he must have teared up the paper, sweared and stormed out of the room?

Hi, wondering if anyone has been out of action on a bike for months or even longer, any problems with upgrading to 2A?

yeah shldnt be a problem, i also ride occasionally only cos i dont have my own bike. but had some problems with the bumpy course and figure 8 at first so went for 1 CR before the assessment and passed. cleared all my lessons within a week (:

eh it's not really a lesson, just ferry a pillion rider around the outer circuit, dont even need to go into the courses. heng for me also i damn scared ferry pillion for figure of 8 cos i'll slow down alot

Phew... Glad to know that pillion riding is not part of the test requirement. I have never pillion anyone on my Vespa before. Will be back for 2A soon!

i think for you, you probably need a longer time to clear the lessons, cos your vespa is very light compared to the Super 4, no clutch to play also. you need to get use to the increased weight, clutch and throttle control. you will understand once you start your 2A lessons.

Congrats to the graduating group of Class 2A and Class 2 riders who took their TP at SSDC today. Class 2 was 100% pass and Class 2A was over 90% pass (me included, yay!!). Big shoutout to 2 of the instructors who were presiding today's batch: Instructor Shaikh and and Vince Loh (sorry I know the name starts with V, but I dont know if I recall it correctly as Vince). They were very encouraging and guided us all the way. I enjoyed my 2A course at the new SSDC in woodlands. I previously took 2B at SSDC yck, so familiar with most of the instructors. Overall positive opinion of SSDC.

ah.... fail my 2nd lesson 1 today.

Bumpy course is really ... hard for me.

just cant seem to get the technique right.

 

Maybe cos i dont own a bike?

seem like lesson 2 is just 1 step away from being able to book RC that you the instructor passed all of us today so we can save $

 

that only a total of 4 rider today.. maybe that is why the instructor did that.

 

I dont remember 2B got such good fortune. Remember paying so much for 2B lesson4.

This thread is so quiet nowadays~~congrats on passing your lesson 2~! I am also going for lots of CR in SSDC now~~ needs lots of practice....been riding scooter for the past year and now I REALLLYYY suffer.....got to re-learn all the gear changing again....T___T

Whatsup with that? I always got this impression that SSDC motorcycle course is more popular then it Car course.

 

And that their 2B grad will be loyal enough to travel to woodland for their 2A course (haha, like me).

- I have just gone online to re-enrol but the system says I cant do that and instead, do a course extension which i did

The answer is clear. Just book CR and yes, you have cleared lesson 2 if you are able to book lesson3 and CR.

 

CR is 50% cheaper then a lesson. There will still be instructor following you but he will be more like "Life Guard at a pool" (looking from far). You still get the chance to ask him questions and he will still be able to show you demo.

 

Lesson 3 is Test Route assessment. advise will be to take more CR first before attempting to take Lesson3. Get the chance familiarize with the test route and regain your "lost" memory.

 

I will be booking a couple of CR now in preparation for my lesson 3.
