actually quite true, get some road experience b4 pillion gf, alot of cb drivers around! eg, taxi bastar*s... PGO gmax is also a fun scooter to ride!

I showed a bunch of ladies 2 different riding videos. One is a safety demo, the other one is a rural time attack.

 

They went ' -_- ' at the safety and lots of 'yay' and 'omg wheres that road' at the fast. Thus, ultimate girlfriend bike = Y125Z, because accelerator very power

 

More importantly when you go fast on it to entertain her, it's easy to control and has no handling vices. Unlike more unstable things like sportsbikes.

but buying a car just to carry girl is dumb

 

so if you are buying a bike, why dont you ask her what she prefers?

granted, a scooter might be more comfortable, but she may not like the looks of it

or a sportsbike might be cooler but she may prefer something simple instead

and you'll also win brownie points for involving her in the decision, girls like that

Lol I am not thinking about anything beyond class 2B for this topic.

 

On that note the Y125Z didn't have any stability issues with winds and large vehicles going past. It's quite strange.

 

However, remove the front fenders and it becomes very scary to ride > 100kph. Something magical about the fender design.

 

I do know about turbulence, wind effects etc (Phantom is somewhat vulnerable to this due to non-aero design, but the weight and huge wheels reduce their effect).

anyways I am riding one for the past 5 yrs.

1)easy to DIY

2)easy to carry gf ard.

3)easy to park(illegally)

4)easy to maintain. have gone back to stock plus stock metallic cover set. once in a while give it a wash and wax and do servicing regularly. you'll keep smiling everytime you reach ur destination. =)
