the above shops are known to have the hornet 250 ... but since I will doing my shopping this coming sat only ... I cant confirm the status.

 

If you keen in selling your bike for the hornet 250, I suggest you contact nE0 (a ducati monster rider) and get him to buy your Super4 so that he can sell me his Monster and you can buy the Hornet 250.

 

The market price for hornet250 is about 6.5K to 8.5K (FW / FX plate)

 

The rumours of 250s being difficult to sell / no value and blah-blah are bullsh*t! I suggest you give the finger to next person that gives this cr*p!

 

good luck in your search and please contact the ducati rider ASAP as I need to get a "naked bike" by next week.

Hornet 250 has been the bike i have always wanted. I love the sound of it. Just that my friend told me that the insurance for hornet and super 4 is the same, might as well take a 400CC bike.. So I bought it.. But there is a difference. Anyway, I am not into power or high speed.. I prefer the nice sound of Hornet.. :D So its ok.. :)

hahaha.. then my fren.. u will be SURPRISED :smile:

 

the hornet is capable of high speed cruising.. n has a top speed of 180km/h.. perhaps it doesnt have the kind of acceleration tat can rip ur arms off but no one can say its slow..

 

personally i ride a hornet.. n i have to admit its easy on my pockets.. i paid 279 for my insurance last year and the road tax for a yr is juz 96 bucks.. basic maintence is the same for most inline4 if not cheaper.. 4 plugs 1 oil filter 3 bottles of engine oil..

 

the best part of the hornet its actually in its engine.. its a high rev unit so u can happily drag it all u wan.. tons of fun i tell u.. handling is quick n light.. brakes workin together wif those fat tyres provide superb stoppin power..

 

any drawback ? so far i can see none.. but i think i am too blinded by the love for my bike to see any.. lolz :cheeky:

usual thing for looking at all 2nd hand bike.

bike history, frame alignment, peculiar engine sounds, why owner sellling, outlook, paintwork.............and it goes on

impt stuff r lik the wheel aligment, engine, any crash history or fall, mileage.. these r jus some of the poins to loko for.. !
