Yez! Yez!.... we're back safely yesterday...Juz had enuff rest.....

Only 4 Hornetz reached the summit. We tried on our own. Quite scary but thrilling...

Spec, we really took the way up like in your pic, man! Motrax, Chiyen, Ravon & myself made the wrong turn...but reached up earlier than the main group. Thought we've lost in the Lalang Mountainz. What a relief! after meeting them half an hour later. Gyan & Wayang took the same way up too after his bike recovered.....

 

We were about to 'Lo, Chiam..Pass' to c who will go to rescue Gyan...about 40km down & 40km up...Sekali good newz!..his bike recovered liow!...

 

Wayang, thankz for accompanying & helping Gyan. Otherwise he'll be lonely..

incident report 1: crash dummy gyan meets mr railing

 

we were seperated from the main grp after the last stop b4 the push up cameron highlands.. we didnt see markers on the expressway n got worried we didnt take the right exit to cameron highlands.. we followed the signs n ended up on the old route to cameron highlands..

 

gyan got worried cos we lost sight of the main grp.. he went faster n faster so as to catch up wif them.. one particular corner.. there was sand.. and his bike lost grip n fell.. went under a railing n stayed there.. i didnt got to see how he actually fell cos i was behind him n only saw him lyin on the road when i arrived.. luckily he is ok n the bike was onli slightly damaged.. still we had to drag it out from under the railing b4 we cld put it on its side stand..

 

the alpinestar jacket we bought saved him from re-enacting the pain he experienced durin the port dickson trip.. but he still sprained his ankle and was walkin around like terry fox..

 

after the fall i told him i wld lead n he will follow my speed.. the old route to cameron highlands was full of danger.. from tight multiple hairpins to sand all over the road.. when we got to the 1st town, ringlit.. gyan's faithful steed finally gave up on him.. the engine died off wif no apparent reason.. i walked around town lookin for help while gyan stayed wif the bikes n tried to rectify the prob.. i managed to find a bike shop n the ppl there told me i was in the cameron highlands oredi and there r multiple places to stay at here in cameron.. i had no idea which hotel we were stayin at.. but chances r the main grp r most probably headin to the 2nd or 3rd town..

 

i went back to look for gyan n told him wat i noe.. we tried callin alvin n chiyen.. no ans.. gyan said clifford told him something b4 we left n he wanted to try fixin his bike.. so we pushed the cbr900 to the bike shop i went to earlier on.. gyan stayed at the bike shop while i look after our things..

 

after a while gyan came back lookin for me n told me he managed to fix the prob.. the fuel pump of his bike was spoilt n he did a bypass.. the bike cld move but not as powerful as b4.. he oso said alvin called n told him the location of the main grp..

 

soon enuff we were on our way.. in the end we got to brinchang.. n our hotel.. in one piece.. man n machine.. THANK GOD !

Gyan reporting... me skided again hahaha. this time round luckly have protection so did not suffer much injuries. As for the bike, its fine jus that the paint work is gone...

saw a hornet on the side of the road on the way down simpang pulai... the rider OK???... FY plate one... Hope its not from this group though...

 

Anyway think you guys should have met the Malaysian riders waiting to ascend by simpang pulai...

yup,a bunch of friendly guys,stop 2 help us out,anyway after they went off,still can hear their exhuast sound from far

& aso met riders from the bmw grp

incident report 2: crash dummy don ends up in drain

 

we were all headin back down cameron highland via the new route.. the roads were FANTASTIC.. superb for cornering and high speed riding.. i was riding my silver hornet behind gyan on his cbr900.. behind me was claurene on her red sv400.. soon the ppl infront was pickin up and we were goin quite fast..

 

i can see the red sv400 in my mirrors.. i was goin quite fast around the corners.. YET she cld still overtake me.. wah~~~ sian liao.. throw away bike la.. i was keepin my bike at around the 14k mark.. yet she cld overtake me easily.. SAD.. she oso overtook gyan.. hahaha.. FIERCE sia.. anyway.. soon we overtook a blue blackbird cos his rear tyre was losing air as the tire puncture seal came out.. then we overtook a blackbird.. and pretty soon we cld see no one ahead.. but we knew don, chiyen, zx12 and a super4 were all infront of us..

 

i was havin a ball keepin up wif gyan.. hahaha.. a silver hornet 250 keepin up wif a black cbr900.. i didnt managed to scrape my footpeg.. juz lack the balls.. dun wanna be too confident of my skills.. promised my parents i'll come back in one piece..

 

anyway.. soon we saw a black super4 infront of us.. gyan overtook it easily.. but i cld not.. i didnt had the power to overtake it at the straights so i had to do it at the corners.. the super4 rider like to brake early.. so i braked LATER and HARDER into the corner n overtook it.. finally.. i overtook a super4.. fair n square.. lolz

 

as gyan overtook the super4 much faster then me.. he was quite a distance infront of me.. cldnt see him at all.. so i rode more aggresively and the super4 disappeared from my mirrors.. after a while.. i saw a black bike infront of me.. yeah.. catch up at last..

 

but down a few corners.. i saw him stop.. tot he was stoppin to help the ppl who were wavin us down.. so i stop by the side too.. who noes don was the one in need.. his bike was in the drain ! OMG.. how the hell did it landed up there.. and was don ok ?

 

i dismounted my bike n walked to the other side of the road.. the bike was in the drain on the inner side of the road.. the bike was facin the opposite direction we came from.. it looked like it was in pretty bad shape.. the meters were gone.. n everything else looked jialat.. don was ok.. lucky he was wearin his rjay jacket n gloves.. goes to show we all should never ride without our protective equipment.. his jacket though saved him.. was torn n doesnt looked it can be worn again.. his ogk ff4 helmet oso has quite a few scratches on it..

 

we started wavin ppl down.. n pretty soon.. alot of the main grp had stopped.. a ger help don cleaned n dressed his wounds while the rest of us try to pull the bike out of the drain..

 

kester arrived wif ropes and we tied them to the front end of the bike.. some ppl pushed the back while some pulled the front and we finally got the bike out of the drain..

 

out of the drain the bike look pretty ok.. no real serious damaged cept for the meters.. kester tried startin the bike.. but it juz wun fire.. too bad.. so we pushed the bike to one side and proceeded on..

 

when the main grp finally gathered at the base of cameron highlands.. don was informed his bike wld be towed to a nearby motortiam.. they wld try to fix the bike.. if it can be fixed.. don can come back few days later to ride it back.. if not it wld have to be towed back to spore..
