Would really, really love to join you gys. Have been keeping a look out for trips in this forum but I tend to work most weekends so it's a bit tough. If the girls in ur pics goes along, then maybe I'll find a way to join ;-)

 

May be moving to Malaysia soon too and therefore after sell my 6 months old Hornet :-(

 

If I do that,, I may buy a 900 there so I can travel back to Sing regularly. Handling on the 900 is less "fun" right?

Smyles, if the girl in motrax's pics goes along, you'll have to stand in the back of a long line of bikes stretching from s'pore customs all the way to malaysian customs... ! :cheer:

 

and if you're going to be commuting from m'sia to s'pore, maybe a more tourer-oriented bike may be a better idea (fazer? st11?). hornet900s weren't built for long uninterrupted highways in mind, but for curvy backcountry roads. Come on up for one of our trips, it'll great to see some new faces! :thumb:

 

btw: Motrax! Something rattling around in my bike engine this morning when i started it up! maybe the old route 50 really did something to my baby... think i'll go down to clifford at lunch time, leave my bike there to do check-up and change tires...

Ting: most riding will still be in the city, just thinking that the 900 hornet better for KL to Sing trips than the 600.

 

You know of the Hornet comes in matt black yet, like it does in the USA? Picture attached ...

Hi guys welcome back,

Very nice pic, you guys must be super high when there's a long strech of "bom bom girl' waving to welcome you..:cheer:

When I was at Desaru, we play the ATV on off road, it was really challenging, mostly you won't have the chance to blast it to top speed. If next trip to Desaru, will try it again.

 

So whose going to organise a day trip to desaru?

 

On the way, we can have our lunch at Pergarang (Super seafood).

Actually that looks like the paint-scheme on my hornet.. it's more like matte gun-metal, not black... the US paint scheme might be different, they call it asphalt, i can't really tell from the pic. You're welcome to check out my bike if you'd like! anyohow, the pic you posted is a 600, not the 900...
