U take a look at what Feng125 aka ricky's excel sheet done up .. base on a BB's calculation.... per month save bout $50 for my case.... taking into consideration of effort & time. I think its not tat worthy at all. 80km to and fro. Its just too much :dizzy:

Guess its abit off topic, can anyone let me know wat is the avg fuel consumption rate of Hornet900? kinda indecisive between either a fazer1000 and hornet 600.... :giddy:

1996-1997 : Honda CBX 125

1997-2006 : Honda Project Big 1

2006-2011 : Yamaha Fazer 1

2011-2013:- Harley Davidson XR1200

2013- now: Something BIG..

But u Deciding betw Hornet 600 & Fazer 1000?

 

What's the On the Road Price for New Fazer 1000...

Both are good do all bikes...

The Hornet a bit more nimble in handling...

And it's a honda(bullet proof eng)

Fazer... Bit lacking in Low Torque for city riding...

Cos is a R1 Import Engine. Nice tourer.

Good Hp...

 

Both bikes are over pwr.

 

It will be down to Looks.

Hornet won't age so quickly... More traditional.

Fazer is more fashionable.

 

Your choice.. U gonna ride & look at it a lot. Ha ha..

Clover Jacket? Hahahahah....

 

Got new arai air mesh jacket... pricing $180 with the protection of back, shoulder, and elbow. Feels like normal jacket. Ultra light! One thing is air mesh.... trip the insects .... hahahaha other than that.. its a perfect wear for SG and short trips. hmmm pricing can get slightly lower la. no worries.... anyone game enough for it? I'll try take pictures and post it here..

Full tank for Hornet 900, is nearing 20L (19.87L). (bike just stall outside petrol kiosk in JB. : ) lucky me) mileage 409km.

 

Pump to the rim : )

 

50% high way (80-100kmh)

50% city riding (change gear around 2-3k rpm)
