hmm, very subjective to tell if its hard or soft cause different tyres made with different compound.

your diablo corsa are agressive tyres. meant for sporty riding. max grip in urban conditions.

you might want to look at sport touring tyres. pirelli angel, michelin pilot road 2/3. range is about 400 plus.

Hornet 9 since first model it's fuel Injected. Pretty trusty and strong model. Comparatively with cb400, minus the surplus of fancy cosmetic make over.

unlikely for hornet to get 35km for fc.

its high revving motor, not meant to sip fuel. perhaps owner miscalculate or was running extremely lean. risky engine condition.

i don't mind meeting up before having to sell off the Impulse.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

yeah, for everything i've done.

might have to be deployed overseas for long term work assignment. so MIGHT have to let go.

so end up spend 1 year to restore, ride the restored bike less than 1 year....sad.

Definitely sad seeing it go. But not practical to keep it as well, parked all times not using it.

so hopefully, i dont get assigned overseas. so i can use it. its really a good bike, barring the fact that it's 15 years old and shows its age in certain areas.

i took it up to 160km/h before, which is very impressive considering its age.

the cf stickers are very obvious. they still feel like paper.

real carbon fibre should be abit like fibreglass texture. kinda plasticky.

what part are you looking at?

Ok, I'm just thinking if I could do something to shed off some weight on my ride... CF parts is something which I can think of, but again its a very costly investment...

Dont waste money on cf parts... do a look up on lifepo battery.. they save you a few kilo instead of a few grams on cf parts.. these batteries can last two times longer and stronger than standard batteries.. im using ballistic evo battery..

do they reall work, the lipo battery?

seems gimmicky to me but i have not done research before.

a good way to save weight is to LOSE WEIGHT AS RIDER! helps alot. LOL. compare a 100kg rider with a 50kg rider, i bet acceleration of that 50kg will win hands down.

All lifepo batteries have a longer life span and they do have stronger cranking amps compared to lead acid batteries... theres a video on youtube using a very small lifepo batteries to start a car over and over again without a problem..
