WTT/WTS SP-TADAO Twin Exhaust for Hornet 250

Hi guys, i have a Honda Hornet 250 with a street legal SP-TADAO twin exhaust full system. For riders currently riding hornet 250, yet want to sound like a dinosaur instead of a bee, look no further!! I guarantee you that people will be turning heads before they even see you coming!!

It comes with a carbon shell and i have DIYed heat wraps at the pipes near the pillion's legs.

Condition: 8/10 (view to believe)

Comes with cert from japan and lta approved letter.

It costs $1,950 original, but i am letting it go for only $1,500(neg).

Price: $1,500 (neg)

Hey guys! Decided to keep and do up the baby hornet, wondering if you guys know a reasonable priced rear-rack to place my box?

Kirofai, sounds like a great deal! Just that i realised hornet 250s have a slight curve in the stock bodywork on one side that the exhaust comes out from, then other is rounded, then like uneven abit haha ocd kicking, cool pipe though!

But should disaster be my fate,

Seen the pipe many times in my area.. the pipe is a little bit out of the bike rather than part of the bike.. whats your budget for the rack?? Got mine for 180+..

Im getting the mmoto with handrails, heard from forumers sw-motecs are not as secure and vibrate quite abit so ill pass. Got a showa adjustable shock with separate reservoir..my stock shock died lol now my front forks feel like crap... you think changing the fork oil to 15w will help make it stiffer?

ok then i shouldnt worry, there was another model from mmoto that leaves the stock grabhandle but feel it looks funny, now left with the brakes then im done with everything, trying to get a set of brembo 16x18, and try to run with brembo 40mm mounting right side calipers, decided not to swap for twin disc since bike already brakes pretty okay, dont wanna have added unsprung weight

quoted 'Today evening I was able to put it in and go for a quick test ride, finally.

And wow... the bike really started much easier! The engine started running almost immediately on the push of the starter button, not after the usual 1 to 2 seconds of the starter motor running. Then the idle was lower (~1300rpm) than I was used to (~1800), but VERY stable. Idle used to be a little "shaky" in the first minutes after a cold start.

So I went on riding the bike slow for a few minutes to warm up the engine. Everything very smooth.

Meanwhile I can confirm the following features and specs:

- fully digital circuits, single high-speed microcomputer chip - I hope so

- ignition timing accurate to 0.1° - it seems so

- increased spark energy intensity - it seems so

- easier engine starting - definately yes!

- smooth acceleration - yes

- no speed or horsepower restriction - didn't notice any restriction

- same shape and connector as the original CDI (16-pin and 22-pin versions available)

- save some fuel due to more accurate ignition timing - we'll see...

- improved engine power output - I would tend to confirm this

- very durable - we'll see '

The guys got quite a rep being a moderator in the hornets nest forum as well as being the first to run a hydro-eco system thats given him amazing FC.

I rather get ignitech programmable cdi, but if youre on a budget, you can try the china ones.. ive use a reputable aftermarket cdi on my other bike before, got stranded at bke.. im planning to run my ignition on microsquirt in future.. then fuel injection conversion.. cos i seriously hate carbs...

Wow you'd go that far to change the fueling system itself? Ive been pretty happy with my carbs lol and compared to you i know nuts on wiring/ electricals

Woah, this is good, like real good especially for bikes that just have the fuel reserve light switching on. Fancy doing for an RSV4?

With age, comes a cage.

Reserve light works on static fuel sender, fuel gauge requires float type fuel sender to work.. sorry i cant help you on this..
