It's the truth, nothing but the truth. :)

 

The only additional feature I like in the Stylus 1030 SW which is not found in my 795 SW is the wide-angle mode.

 

that is the only major difference btwn the rest of the stylus series apart from the megapixels... and oh it's crushproof.

 

well guess gotta live with my 790sw :D i got the casing too. its gonna rock!

Not really... avg price of casings for most brands usually range between 265 - 360. Not counting the high end ones.

Can't comment if you got chopped but SGD300 is definitely not expensive for such niche item. I remembered paying more than that for my Lumix F-1 underwater casing, and that was more than 4 years ago.

 

On my F-1 u/w casing, it tends to fog up after awhile due to the heat from the camera. I wonder if that is the case for the Stylus u/w casing, especially the LCD is much bigger, and all the heat got to be generated from there.

 

If only my 795SW shares the same u/w casing as yours...heeee:angel:

I usually kop one of those silica gels from the food packs (very tiny packs) and place them together with the camera when diving. helps a lot.

That's why must really find the very small packs one. But be careful not to force it in coz you still need to close the casing properly.

 

We all started out the same way mah. But 1 reminder when taking the pics do keep a lookout on your surroundings. Seen so many divers so eager to take pictures and then kicking and breaking the corals behind them.
