Hi,

 

As I'm a new member at this forum, I would like to introduce myself first. My name is Chris and I'm from Switzerland. I have two motorbikes, a Honda VF 750 C Magna and a Honda Innova.

 

After I have hired a Honda Wave 125 S several times when I was on holiday in Thailand, I wanted to have a similar bike at home. So I got a Honda ANF 125 Innova. Unfortunetly, my Innova doesn't have the same performance as a Wave from Thailand. I guess this is due to strict emission and noise regulations in Europe.

 

I wonder if the exhaust pipe responsible for the lack of peformance. To find out if the pipes are different, I would be very glad if someone could let me know the type number of the Wave exhaust pipe. My Innova has an exhaust pipe HM KPH E1 with code E13.

I guess they are the same.

If u see on the exhuast...it says Honda ANF125.....either on the Innova or the Wave.

Thanks for your reply, Thai_R. The pipes of both models are marked with ANF 125, TIS 341-2543 (Thai industrial Standard for motorcycle exhaust mufflers), and a type number which is probably not the same for asian and european market models. In Indonesia for instance, the type number is 185530-KPH-E20. I wonder does your Wave from Thailand have the same number on the exhaust pipe?

 

I'm afraid Honda has equipped the Innova with an exceptionally noise-reduced muffler. According to the homologation plate under the seat, the noise level of the Innova exhaust muffler is just 82 dBA. I don't think that the original Wave exhaust muffler is that much noise-reduced... In Thailand the noise limit for motorcycle exhaust mufflers is 95 dBA, I think.

There is no street legal aftermarket pipes for Waves in Thailand.

Only have stock or illegal(SG context).

 

U might wanna wait news from Europe perhaps.

Guess for the price range of a so call "street legal aftermarket" are not feasible in sgp. Even if there are, the price range is much much more than enough for you to mod your whole bike upside down.
