Ya, the promotion is still on.

Guess they are clearing their old stocks. The sales guy says that new stock coming in, and maybe new designs too.

For the price, I think it is very worth it.

My bike not blue hahaha but I like blue.

judging from the hjc-europe website i dun see any 'new' design for the CL-ST, so i donno wat 'new design' they may be referring to. i do notice that the FG-15 they dont carry (if they did, i did not see) the graphics 'Vol-lez', 'Kartan' and 'Kynee' (diff coloured 'Ben Spies').

but actually i hope they'd start selling the FS-11, with the built-in sun visor and air pump system. if that helmet retails for under $350, i'd go get it just for the sun visor and air pump.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

i just want to put in perspective the 'PSB' sticker issue, particularly for those who didn visit the thread on 'ECE/DOT/SNELL'.

the FF supporters here, when we put on an ECE/DOT/SNELL ff and heck care the psb sticker, we are not the same as the 'stylish' biker who heck care the psb sticker and then put on a 'fashionable' half-cap coconut husk on his head. the latter is a biker who totally heck care legality as well as safety issues.

the FF supporters here dont heck care safety issues. we just dont agree that the PSB sticker is somehow the 'Gold Standard' when it comes to helmet safety; it is in fact the minimum standard. i do not know exactly how psb tests the helmets (they are surprisingly un-transparent), but it is very easy to get details of ECE/DOT/SNELL tests on the net, whether in layman terms or technical terms. there is no 'standard' test, even the ECE/DOT/SNELL tests differ from each other. i suspect the PSB test is similar to British tests where they perform simple impact tests on 3 or 4 main areas of the helmet: left, right, rear and maybe top.

by contrast, ECE/DOT/SNELL design their tests to simulate 'real-world' crashes. there is no issue here: ECE/DOT/SNELL tests are more comprehensive than PSB tests.

and so the proponents of ff here put on our ECE/DOT/SNELL ff without the psb sticker because we believe we are following the spirit of the law: our helmets are safe, and in fact safer than most of psb helmets around. we heck care the psb law only because we believe, and rightly so, that our helmets are even safer than wat the psb law stipulates.

the visor issue is a totally different story. you can argue that tinted visors protect ur eyes in bright sunlight, but by the same token it also impedes one's vision in adverse lighting conditions. at least with sunglasses, u are likely to remove them, but nobody is going to carry a spare clear visor to switch when the situation calls for it. i think most proponents of ff here would just follow the law when it comes to tinted visors, because its not worth fighting about.

and like i said, i have not been questioned by TP for my non-psb ff for the past 5 years i've been wearing them. it is definitely true that 10 years ago, a rider with ff would be stopped and booked on sight. that was when ppl, from tp to even bikers, actually dun believe that ff were safe to use.

i have to agree with you bro... to me PSB is redundant...

only serves to unnecessarily jack up FF helmet prices...

was wondering the tinted visor that comes with R-PHA10 legal?

as in at least 70% light transmittance at any time like mentioned in the link.

i think the $100 more price tag for Ben Spies is a fair price la... slightly lighter, better cushions and inner liner + the 'MotoGP' look and feel of the helmet... hahaha.
