was thinking of going again, on my cub, but yet to confirm depending on my peers.

Riding from Tak to Chiangmai is the funest part of the ride, with the nice sweeping high speed bends, mountainous views and foggy atmosphere.....

the roads on MHS loop are not really in good condition to 'play' corner. only certain parts..... nevertheless i think its the company around u that makes the trip more interesting and memorable.

U can also try Route 11 from ChiangMai to Lampang.

It's one of the best long easy corner roads i've seen in my life !!!!

If u think Ipoh was fun....u should check this out....

About MHS....there's only 1 word/sentence to describe the corners....

"It's every Initial D fan's wet dream come true !!!"

U should really try to attempt the Tak to Mae Sot at night alone on ur Wave.

Bigger bikes with better lights not fun.

On a wave u'll be blindly taking a corner.....

Cannot open the visor cuz got insects....close cannot see....

wah....shoiks man !

The worst part of MHS is actually after MHS towards Mae Taeng.

hill sides caved in with debris all over the road... sometimes i wonder how Super Tourers acutally clear that sections without falling.... imagine trying to balance 200-300kg downhill over loose gravel.....

Respect.....

thats what we did. we took route 11 from lampang to chiangmai near evening time, nice cool wind.

but when we took route 11 from chiangmai to lampang, it was fcuking cold..... balls shrunk, riding with full battle order yet still freezing.... weather was 9 degrees at that time and we were doing average 130kmh along that route.

MHS via route 1095 after Pai was bad, due to the landslides and road conditions. Route 108 is much better better.

if u dun have front basket on ur wave, the headlight would shine better.

also we have a VFR800 who took his bike to karen long neck village in MHS through gravels & off road terrain. the rest of us all rented a cub kia to trash. as a result some trashed till buanged..... :giddy: :giddy: :giddy:

I'm glad my stock IRC tyres made through everything.....

tight corners, long stretches, U turns, gravel, sand....

hehehe.... secret..... :lovestruck:

:? secret :? wat is so secret abt it.... but now i am starting to reconsider, bigger cc does not always means better after looking at the MHS trip photos, maybe a cub or a middle-weight bike might be a better choice on such trips

Got good and bad points lah....

overall u must enjoy the trip on whatever bike u wish to ride.

i prefered the wave cuz of spare parts availablity.

and wanted to prove it's not the bike, its the rider......
