i've never ridden an RS.. but i've ridden a Mito before..

i can say that its handling is more solid/precise/agile/razor-sharp, ect than 2a bikes i've ridden.

it takes cornering to a finer artistic level.

Agreed. The Mito is the only bike on par with the RS in the class.

dun worry abt it, we are all here to share our personal opinion. no wrong or rights, just enlightening the TC of the pros and cons.

yes ur right to say its worth that money provided

1)if u have riding for some time/ its not ur first bike purchase

2) money isnt an issue

IMO.

dun get me wrong, i'd prefer a KTM, husky over a DRZ any time but what im emphasizing on between a continental and a jap bike is the afford-ability and the time consuming/rare parts tt have to be imported in this case.

We all know if given a choice, we'd pick a ducati/aprillia/ktm/husqvarna/husaberg/derbi/bmw/HD over its jap counterparts if not for afford-ability(money). We know its better be it in a sense of refinement, higher class, better quality, more atas, more glam, more eye-catching, more sophisticated.

Im sure that some if nt all of us here have frens/acquaintances that ride a RS125 before, but how many of them continued to a rs250? or are even capable of riding it past 1 year? I know there are but only a HANDFUL who managed that. And how many of the handful managed it with their own dough?

what u said is like comparing apple and orange, ofc im nt referring to continental or jap bike. im referring to money-for-value(from ur POV) and afford-ability(my POV)

From personal experience, owning such a bike isn't really that unaffordable. Although it is dearer, it's not that expensive. It only hits you like a wall when something big goes wrong, say the engine seizes. Then it will be $_$. Other than that, it costs pretty much the same in terms of maintainence.

Actually, almost all my friends did buy their own bikes. Only a couple of them were given bikes by their parents. They aren't riding RS250s but they have moved on to class 2 bikes. Some of them still have their 2B bikes for daily transport because they're smaller and it's easier to squeeze through traffic.

Spend 1k getting helmet, jacket, glove and boot. The other 3k you can get almost any bike and less worry about injury :-)

Thats an excellent statement. No use spending 4k buying nice bike but no money buy protection.
