i am thinking of exploring this illegal fishing place this weekend. From google maps, it looks like abandoned fish farms - probably swarming with lots & lots of fishes if true.

went fishing out to sea last sun.... whole day, poor catch sia, only caught 1 arnd 1kg fish.... until now havnt tasted the fish. haha.

3. Have to go there really early (around 4am, end ard 7.30am)

its confirmed - i am going to explore this abandoned fish farms near Yishun Dam area. Shld be teaming with fishes coz nobody harvest them for long time. We going tomorrow 3pm, post at above thread if interested.

we did't try fishing... but those fishermen there say sometime got lots of fish, sometimes less. The abandoned fish farm (not fish pond) is big, probably swarming with fish coz nobody harvest it.

its near yishun ave 6, opp blk 406. You can see a big forest & a path going inside. Best dun go alone without a GPS; might get lost

You can access the below jetty from seletar camp. This pic is taken from yishun dam, but we actually ride our way to this corner on that day.

Fishfarm is out of bound (army training area) it will leads to swamps just b4 seletar island if u branch to left,it will lead u to dam if u branch to right.

 

the 1st pix behind yishun dam. is set up by a bunch of old fisherfolks,a raise platform with PVC rod holders.. nope bad fishing coz shallow mudflat.

 

u can try going in from seletar camp follow the road all the way into the construction area(not suppose to enter) keep left following the shoreline,you will reach a place where the embankment on the shore is cut off by fencing(razor type) try there coz it looks good for KBL ground(pretty deep water) that's beyond the distant jetty like structure u see in the 2nd pix. the brit track goes much further in. how far i dunno coz i din explore that far in seems like it goes on for km but the shore fenced up.

Ok, thanks bro. Will check it out. Anyway, there's a lake in tamp ave 10 also. Its beside bedok reservoir. The lake is actually restricted or smthn. Wonder if anyone has tried fishing there. Think it a fresh water lake.

 

There's another one in tampines too. Its at the BMX trail there. Inside a forest. But this one is abit smaller.

its restricted area, but while walking, we saw 1 phantom & 2 other smaller 2b bikes inside. Road condition is not muddy, mostly gravel.

Another hidden fishing spot is here, shoreline directly facing coney island in ponggol. Nobody can go here unless got own vehicle. Very nice atmosphere especially when you are fishing around 5pm & can see sunset.
