Too bad my bike sold. If not can try to see whether a carb can beat the Fi.. Yamaha cannot be downgrading their technology every year..

For 07 bike, Just make sure you don't roll on at 2nd gear 5500rpm.

I'm quoting abt the lag in the 07 R1 at 5500rpm. Are u trying to say the efi lost to the carb which the carb only have a yoshi end can?

Only affects the second gear 5500rpm. US model.

 

Euro models are not affected. Sounds like some problem with ECU mapping.

Might be your set valve. Not sure. Must go to dealer mode than can know. Normally for me, I'll just d/c the valve.

06 EFI model lost to 00 carb model in roll on

and that 06 had full system while the 01 had only a slip on

havent tried 07 roll on yet. waiting for fatsum
