hi all!

 

I'm upgrading from s4 to a yammie soon. The thing is, my budget will fit at most a 03r1.

 

Would it be advisable to get an 03 model (EFI)? Afterall a 4yo bike and its maintenance might be a concern rite?

 

i'm also considering 05r6 instead as it costs about the same. However, i don't go track so 1 liter bike should be better.

 

Maybe you guys can share your opinions, specifically, is it worth getting a 03r1?

1st welcome u in here.

 

pre own bikes all have their pro i guess, most importantly is the previous owner(s), whether he got take care of the bike properly or not.

i know of someone riding 07 dnt know have to chg EO while doing his running oso

Mine an 01, so far so good.. no pro at all.

 

then again, get somethg u like once u see it for the 1st time, never go wrong, coz u everyday will need to ride on it...

 

Lastly, u say u dnt go track, but 1L bike better,

seems like another Milan in the making... take care and ride safely..

if you are really keen on a 04, maybe wait awhile for a few months, save up, and have more for down payment for 04 model

 

think careful coz u should be going to ride it for at least a year, don't later go "nb should have saved more then chu a newer model"
