i think fattsum got negative feedback

not sure about BP interest rate. but mine is agent bike, they should be still selling agent bike.

Ok bro. Thanks alot for everything.

if i'm not wrong , the anniversary model should be the 08's one

BP's interest is at 4% , got PI and Agent bikes

judging from haichi's link, seems like anniversary model indeed coincides with 2008's. Mebbe not yet released.

You misunderstood me. What I meant was, better to get the 2010 R1 than the anniversary model. If you meant the anniversary model as in the limited edition one, sure it will be much more expensive than the normal brand new R1s cos of the goodies attached. Since you do have an issue with pricing, better wait out another year and buy the 2010 R1 lor. Going by Yamaha's pattern, next major specs change and design should be in 2010... :)
OOhh ok. I expected major changes in the 2009 model actually. but nvm, too old by then.

3,400 cars caught speeding on KPE in 6 days

By Christopher Tan, Senior Correspondent

NEARLY 3,400 vehicles were caught exceeding the 70kmh speed limit in the underground Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) in the first six days of its opening.

Of the lot, 45 cases exceeded 110kmh, and one vehicle - a sedan - was clocked crossing 140kmh.

Their owners will be receiving either warning letters or summonses from the Traffic Police.

The number of speedsters caught works out to a daily average of 563 - more than four times the number of speeding cases islandwide per day.

This is partly because the tunnels have highly accurate digital laser cameras - the first of their kind used here. They never run out of film like the old models used on other expressways. And they work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, unlike policemen carrying laser cameras.

The other reason for the inordinately large number of cases is that some motorists are still unaware of the new tunnels' 70kmh limit.

Photographer Bryan Van Der Beek, 31, who reckoned he might have gone faster than 70kmh, said: 'I honestly didn't see any sign, maybe because I was looking at the tunnel itself. It was my first time driving through it.''

Alvin Tan, 40, a company vice-president, said he did not see any signs warning of the presence of speed cameras. 'If the cameras are hidden and there are no signs, it's entrapment,'' he said.

think i may expect letter come also

Why call it expressway but set a 70km/h limit? :giddy:

Because its a very long tunnel, they can't afford having accidents due to speeding

There's a similar tunnel in France known as the Mont Blanc tunnel, which runs under the mountain. And a fire broke out once due to a speeding accident and rescue vehicles could not get to the accident site.

After that, they put about 2 million speed cameras in that tunnel :giddy:
