hello all gixxer 1000s here... can i please know if anyone invested on e ENgine covers (to withstand e fall without having e engine covers being damaged)

i on e K6 and i had used sibi moto carbon fibre for my previous bike.... really didnt know what to get for my K6 .... any pros here could guide me ? as i know know e cover protector is very important (had all my sliders fixed le) and also i just wanna get all those ready available in singapore de... tk

 

 

I am using the Yoshimura case saver from K7 onto my K5. Its fix perfectly but all supplied screws have to be changed due to the different length.

 

If U need the correct screw length, please PM me. :)

Diameter of the exhaust ? I am not so sure, but going to buy a slimmer exhaust to try it on my K5.

 

The fiber inside is called the Phonoabsorbent, supposed to absorb the noise if I am correct. Without it the exhaust will scream !!!

 

I'm using tri-cone, really-super-no-balls when I took out the baffle as its too damn loud, even louder then Arrow when the baffle is out, so most of the time i take the baffle out only during track days. If I wish to shorten it, where do i cut it from,ie the front or back?

 

Tri-cone ? U will have difficulty to shorten it as it is tapered. Anyway, no harm to ask Sheng Kwang ...

Totally agree man, the Tri-cone is very loud on the track. That's why I think Yoshimura install 2 baffles to suppress the noise in order to supply to countries with noise restrictions like Singapore.

for k7 stock recommendation is 36 36 single rider and 36 42 with pillon so i'm pretty sure its quite close to that.

 

One more thing... scrap the 014... slippery...

Well, depends on which brand of tires your bike is on should u scrap off the BT014..

 

I'm running 36/40 on my 2CT currently due to the softer compound..

 

Man, if i were to continue riding and scrap my plans for a 4-wheeler..Think i would go for a Duc 848.. :angel:
